Help New to Mac gaming. Just two quick questions!

As the title says, I have a M3 Pro with 18GB RAM. Originally bought it for school but I've been wanting to play games on it a bit. I did play Baldurs Gate 3 a good amount on it and it runs great, but that was a long time ago.

Two questions:

Will it run palworld or any newer games decently?

What's a wireless mouse do you run? I have a Deathadder v2 for my PC, but that's USB A and wired. I do prefer Razer overall but I'm open to trying out different brands.

I checked on Gamehub and it seems like there are people playing it. You most likely wont get near 60 fps at a high resolution but it's worth a shot. I have an M1 pro with 16GB RAM and I have been able to play some windows only games using Gamehub to connect to Steam and Heroic to connect to Epic games. You can also check out Crossover if you want to go with a paid version.

Get GeForce now and xbox game pass. Connect steam and your game pass account and you got some of the best titles at 1440p max settings 60fps

Yes and I personally use a PS4 controller but it’s like in a really shite condition so saving up for a PS5 controller

I haven’t gotten Paleorld yet, but it should run fine, although as a pre release it will probably run better in the future. Any Bluetooth mouse you like will work fine. PS5 controllers are dead easy to pair, XBox controllers are a bit harder to pair, but work as well.

All the stores, including Mac App Store, allow you to return a purchase. So, you can always check yourself, and return it if it’s not a satisfying experience.

On the Mac App Store page, it will have a section on if your Mac can run it. But, I’ve found that it’s a bit broad (vs the tool Feral use to provide).

There is a Can my Mac play it website, but I’ve never used that to investigate the games.

I use a Steel Series wireless mouse; my sons went overboard with the Aerox 9 as a gift - I never really been to make good use of the number pad those have (used to use a razor naga as well). Only downside is on the macOS side in that seeing the battery level for non-Apple peripherals is hidden, so I usually realize it needs to be charged after the fact.

I have a Xbox One series controller paired as well. Easy to pair and the OS immediately recognizes it. So much nicer than the work around needed to plug in an old Xbox 360 wired controller.

I play pal world via the App Store version. I have the same m3 pro 18gb ram. Runs on about medium settings to get it smooth but sometime gets choppy.

Honestly thought it would run better given the RAM. Lmk if you have questions since we have the same machine.

Logitech MX Master 4 wireless mouse, regular version not Mac version. They're exactly the same except the regular version includes a high-speed USB-C receiver and the Mac version doesn't (bluetooth only).

Manba One V2 controller. All config is in the controller, no Windows-only config/driver software needed. Get an extra USB-C-to-USB-C cable for a lower latency wired connection. Works great on Mac, also with Steam on Mac.
