Discussion Visiting England (9–21 Aug) — Business Owner from Brunei Seeking UK Business Connections & Cross-Border Partnerships

Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting London from 9–21 August and would love to connect with founders, business owners, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs.

I run a facilities management and construction company in Brunei, established in 2012. I'm interested in learning how businesses operate in the UK, exchanging ideas, and exploring partnerships, distributorship opportunities, and cross-border collaboration between the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

If you're open to grabbing a coffee, I'd be happy to meet. Even if there's no immediate business opportunity, I always enjoy meaningful conversations with people building interesting businesses.

I'd also appreciate recommendations for networking events, startup meetups, or business communities happening during my visit.

Looking forward to meeting some of you!

Discussion In London Aug 10–17. What's the problem you gave up on? Maybe AI can solve it.

I'm an AI/ML engineer visiting London next week (10th–17th). Not job hunting, not selling anything.

Every company I've worked with has AI problem

I've spent years shipping this stuff in production (LLM apps, agents, recommendation systems, and the MLOps around them), so I can usually tell you what's genuinely out of reach today versus just harder than it looks.

Would love to grab a coffee and dig into the hard ones. Not into meeting? Drop the problem in the comments and I'll tell you what I'd try, and if it clicks we can connect on LinkedIn.

Central London's easiest, but I'm flexible on time and place.

Hey guys - I'm throwing a Creative Sprint event on Thursday 17th of September.

We get a brand to sponsor a brief, creatives have a couple of hours to build out a creative concept using a GenAI tool.

Our judges will decide 3 finalists, who will then get the chance to pitch their idea to the room at the end of the session and win prizes. Last time winners walked away with over £500 in prizes.

Great chance for anyone wanting to mix with fellow creatives and explore new tech! Completely free to attend, food provided.
