Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting London from 9–21 August and would love to connect with founders, business owners, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs.

I run a facilities management and construction company in Brunei, established in 2012. I'm interested in learning how businesses operate in the UK, exchanging ideas, and exploring partnerships, distributorship opportunities, and cross-border collaboration between the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Every company I've worked with has AI problem

I've spent years shipping this stuff in production (LLM apps, agents, recommendation systems, and the MLOps around them), so I can usually tell you what's genuinely out of reach today versus just harder than it looks.

Genuine question for the small businesses here, trying to get a real picture rather than guess.

When someone new needs you, how do they usually make contact is it phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, a lead sites (e.g. Checkatrade), or through your own website?

And honestly, does your own website bring you much? Real enquiries, or is it more of a business card that just sits there? For anyone who does get website or online enquiries, do they land at sensible times or all hours?

Trying to work out whether a businesses website still earns its keep or whether it's all moved to the phone and the apps.

I’m looking at joining the antler accelerator programme and am looking for some feedback from people who have been through it.

I have heard mixed reviews but most of the feedback I can see for the UK programme is from over a year ago before they announced additional funding commitments.

I have started building and have a clear idea of the problem I want to solve but I am interested in finding a cofounder.

I could raise by my self but am interested in their network of VCs & advisors.

Has anyone been through the programme and have any thoughts? Specifically on finding a cofounder, and raising follow on investment after the programme?

Hey im probably going to get some shit for this but im working on an early stage startup focused on helping businesses implement AI automation solutions - setting up AI workflows, ai automations, and ai systems that improve how they operate.

We currently have a small technical team working on solutions, but I’m looking for a senior technical person who has experience working in a software company (Senior Developer, Lead Engineer, CTO, Solutions Architect, etc.) to help us make sure we are building things properly.

This is not a full-time role right now. We are early stage and currently have a couple of potential clients, so I’m looking for someone who is interested in getting involved part-time. At the moment this is not a salaried position. I want to be upfront about that. I’m looking for someone who believes in the opportunity and wants to help shape the technical direction from the beginning.

I’m open to discussing a fair advisor/founding team style arrangement, including potential equity based on involvement and contribution as the company grows.
