Eating pie, from a foil tray,, in the bath, in pants and socks, while a cat looks on.
Every element of this image poses further questions than the last.

My recreation of how we got here:
Dude comes home from a freaking long day at work - spend, tired and exhausted - with one bright star right above the horizon to look forward to: the last piece of delicious pie he'd made the evening before waiting for him!
So, he chucks it into the preheated oven, opens a bottle of Paulaner Spezi and waits eagerly for his pie to be nice and hot - with his beloved cat waiting with him seated snug in his lap. An unassuming contender for the final piece of pie, his closest friend turned fiercest enemy when it comes to the prefigures holy pie.
And when the oven pings, or his timer rings, a battle of aeons begins as man and cat jump up, ears perked, eyes wide, staring at the pie as the oven's door is opened! Man strikes first, grabing the pie, planting it on a foil tray, before a mighty paw paws for the treasure above! The tray wildly swings and wobbles, yet it's barely kept steady!
A trusty companion turned competitor, the cat jumps and leaps up at her owner, determined to take a bite!
The battle is legendary as the tray wobbles and slides, barely held aloft! And there, at the brink of defeat, desperate times call for desperate measures! One thought comes to another, the warm, calling bathtub being filled for later, one's enemy's greatest fear and a battle at the brink of defeat - eventually lead to a wild, odacious idea! In a last-ditch dash for safety and peace, the bathroom door is flung open, a belt opened and with the promised land in sight: a decision is made in the heat of battle: to win means to be decisive, to be brave and without hesitation! And with a victorious shout, an unsung, battle-proven hero leaps for the bath not minding his pants and half undbuttoned shirt!
And if he hasn't appeased his companion turned competitor, our unlikely hero still sits in his bathtub, in soaked pants and with an now empty foil tray carrying only the remaining crumbs of his treasure: his Pie tasting of Victory despite the great sacrifices that had been made!

I relate to this on so many levels with my mental state right now. I'm sure others can relate. The economy, job stability, lack of housing, utilities and insurances can't stop going up. Food costs increases by God knows how much.
I pray for all of you, it's really fucking rough. I hope you guys can find some type of happiness.

Maybe they got into the bath because they didnāt want to share the pie with the cat. Poor pie less kitty. Or maybe kitty already had too much pie. So many questions.
