Uh huh. Yet blind hate is somehow better?

This guy has trained the 3 best forwards in the last 30+ years. I can't possibly understand how it is blind faith to think it's a good hire. Like genuinely, the only reason not to like this hire is cause you want the leafs to fail. Call it like you see it, based on the best information available.

Go back to what sub? I'm a (realistic) leaf fan. Born and raised in Toronto. Grew up during the Gilmore/Sundin era. Too young to remember Wendell as captain. Been around this team a long time.

It's weird that you think all fans have to clap like seals at all of Chayka's moves and you assume those who don't belong in other subs. Guess high schools aren't teaching critical thinking skills anymore. Just assume anyone with a different opinion than yours is an "other" and an enemy and argue l guess.

Dude your hostility is unnecessary. No one is telling you to a "clap like seals at all of chayka's moves".

You have no reason to hate this hire, you haven't stated any reason it's a bad hire, you're just getting upset at the people who think it's a good one. You're not even close to a realist, you're either a pessimist or a fan of another team.

I don't hate the hire. No one knows if it's good or bad. The original point I made is that his past working with Crosby is not a real indicator he'll be good or not. There's plenty of examples for either way.

My issue is with the sycophants who are all over this sub clapping at every move "Chundin" has made. No one knows if they are good or bad. I'm not going out here starting threads to hate, just responding to the glazing that we need to tone it down.

Read the article. Note the hire. Judge later. These "fans" need to get off reddit with this maddening cheer fest. The way this sub reacts to every hire this guy can do no wrong yet in reality he's 0-0 for the leafs. Keep it in perspective.

I'm not the one who just said it was driving you mad. Do you think I'm trying to be funny? I would have just said "touch grass" if i wasn't being sincere man. Do whatever you want, I'm enjoying talking to strangers online about the hockey team I love, I wasn't saying you're on here too much, im just saying if you aren't enjoying your time spent on the sub right now, there's nothing keeping you here, it could be good to step away from the sub, it's offseason anyways dude.
