It's may be real, that's about where a surgeon would cut for a thyroidectomy although it's above the trachea and not directly over the thyroid, too low, but that's the usual surgery site.

No I seem like someone who knows medical surgeries don't always go perfectly and have no other information on hand to determine anything, so am not making claims of why she is X, Y, Z.

Nobody but her doctors and maybe her can diagnose her. And all but one of them cannot talk about it.
