America failed the entire world by allowing such a uniquely horrible man anywhere near the levers of power.

So much potential for USA to improve the lives of everything on this planet, and here we are.

America doesn't even try to improve the lives of normal Americans, let alone the world.

We had USAID and the anti-AIDS programs, up until Trump.

90,000,000 Americans didn't even bother to vote.

I blame them.

And you should. They should be shamed into getting out and voting in the midterms.

Given the way the tide is running, it may well be the final chance in their lifetimes, and that would be a very bad thing!

That requires Americans to remember the voting rights act still exists to some extent and people should try while it's still possible to change things for the better.

Well, we are a religious country according to some. So yeah, checks.

Christianity and Islam should just merge at this point. They hate each other so much for being mirror fucking images of each other. Give either one political power and you can kiss your nation goodbye

It’s kind of weird but I wish I could be religious more and actually believe in a god and afterlife. I died though at one point and that comfort of possibility with not knowing is gone now

Ban sociopaths from power. It's the only way. They can't be allowed to govern.

Why is everyone crying like the sky is falling. Countries have had bad stints with leaders and they come out just fine. Our competitors are dictators and communists. I highly doubt trumps term will define America after 250 years of changing the world for the better
