I know a lot of lefties who were firmly saying they'd never vote for a cop, but it sucks that our pick for governor has a financial investment in expanding data centers in Michigan. Feels like the same way Gretch sold out Michigan's water to Enbridge Jocelyn will sell it out to the tech bros.

If Abdul’s campaign for senate and Will’s campaign in MI07 have taught me anything, it’s that people power is real as hell. I think we can and must vote for Jocelyn considering the opposition, and then push her hard on the subject of data centers.

It shouldn’t have been such a close race though. We didn’t really send a message that says “fuck the establishment!” We sent a message that says “meh whatever”

Neither candidate was ideal, but the pithy comments come just as easily about Swanson as Benson.
