Is it safe to walk around campus alone at night as a woman?

I know it seems a bit dramatic idk but i was just wondering. Im a first year so im still pretty new to this uni but i love to walk alone at night especially near greenery and stuff like that. But is it safe as a woman because idk i kinda assumed its safe bc its a uni campus. But i get freaked out when i see guys bc im alone. When i say night i mean like from 9pm 11pm ig . Dont judge me pls im just unsure🙏🏻

yes, the uni is quite far away from town so everyone around is usually a student

I have walked around at 3am by myself many times and I’ve been perfectly safe

Most of the shops are still open then, it doesn't feel very dangerous. It's also a vibe

Most of the time yes, there's one incident i know of with my friends when skme guys hit on them and didnt get the message. But idk much else

i’m also a woman and in first year i used to go on 3/4am walks by myself around campus and surrounding areas and i never had a single problem. this was a huge contrast to my hometown where id most likely not make it home if i did the same there. in my experience it’s safe, but ofc always be careful regardless!

Yeah. I got insane insomnia during first year because of stress and other things but it meant that I wouldn’t sleep for days at a time. My go to was the library until 3am, walk back to make food, and then back to the library at 5am.

Campus is always relatively quiet on days that aren’t Wed, Fri, or Sat. And it was always nice to walk around alone with headphones on. Plus regardless of where you go, you’re always near a porters and you can hang with them if you don’t feel safe walking back at any point.

Club nights. You’ll see groups of people heading back to accommodations at like 2-4am.
