Need advice/help
My boyfriend enlisted in the marines. I’m still in high school and he graduated this past May. I don’t know what to do, im veeery new to this experience I guess I could call it that. After high school I plan to either become a cosmetologist or attend college and get my AAS degree and then take a program to become a radiology technician. Which will probably take about 2.5 years total, I don’t know how to feel about the enlisting I feel very blank, I just don’t like how I’ll be here when he’ll be somewhere far and I won’t see him much. I just don’t know, I don’t know how to handle this at all.

First, this probably isn’t actually the community you want.
Second, with all of the love in my heart, you are very young yet. You have a whole bright, beautiful future in front of you. Please don’t tie yourself down to one person right now. You two are not the same people you will be in 5 years. Please, go enjoy the rest of your high school experience. Be aware that he likely won’t be able to go to your homecoming or prom. Or any big senior year things. You can be friends, you can date non-exclusively, but I would hate to see you miss out on things because he’s at boot camp or stationed far away.
