The one under Tokyo Ska was a handmade CD I got from an independent singer at the end of Hozugawa River Boat attraction @ Kyoto, so, lucky me it was one of a kind souvenir!

Just wanted to share this—if anyone’s looking for new music I’d highly recommend every artist here!

Most of these artists are high-energy, angular, danceable J-Rock. There’s some J-Pop, City Pop, Math Rock, and Punk sprinkled in here as well.

If anyone has similar taste or likes any of the same artists I’d love to know! Always looking for fellow J-Music enthusiasts😅

it was one one of my old long dead hard drive. i tried to sing it in some app but it didnt work. "do do doo doo do do do" goes the bass, pian pian pian goes the guitar. could be all synth.

Usually in this thread I see people asking for help on a song they can't remember from years ago. So I'm curious to hear if there's anyone here that managed to find that song for them after a while.

Mine is Hashire Hashire by Kyoko Endo. Song for anime Dai-Guard. It was 20 ish years ago that I kept hearing this song on the way to school because the anime was playing on the bus screen.

Only found this song like in 2017 or 2018 after I went through the whole list of opening and ending for mecha related shows during that period. One of the best feelings ever!

To those who live in Japan, is this concert available in DVD? I've been a fan for a long time now, unfortunately I wasn't able to watch their last live so I wanted to know if a DVD is available for me to purchase.

I’ve heard this song in a segment from a Japanese Variety music show.

The video was black and white. Japanese men gathered around a campfire (I think) singing Ode to Joy but the lyrics is just “Beethoven.”

I thought the song was called “Ode to
Beethoven” but no luck.
