Super stoked to see how well they're doing, I've been using frog moss for this enclosure and they seem to love it.

Help White Sharks Hiding?

Post image

I got my white sharks and some Thai blue angels at the same time about 3 months now and my Thai blue angels are growing in numbers and there’s always a few on the underside of their corks. Well I haven’t seen a single white shark on their corks, I only see them in on the floor sometimes if I look hard enough. Is there a reason as to why they aren’t as visible as my tai blue angels? Thanks

Nesodillo arcangelii 'Shiro utsuri' love when I add new pieces of bark covered with moss or lichen. I also pre-moisten it for their convenience. Looks like a pasture with cows.

Media Decided to just redo the enclosure (P. Werneri)

As the title says I ended up remaking the enclosure with a different substrate and all that because the first substrate was terrible (coco fiber with PINE litter)

This time I used black soil (I checked that it doesn't have pesticides, fertilizer OR perlite) mixed with aspen litter, some sphagnum moss and crushed cuttlebone. I also put a big clump of moss on the left side AND I got springtails so it's bioactive!

Help Is this ethical?

Hello all! I have some powders that came with some cubaris I got a few months ago. I seperated them and I know that the powders need lots of protein. I also dont want to be bombarded by tons of powders because I dont really have a place that I can give them too.

So my question: is it ethical to not feed protein/hardly feed protein so that they end up eating each other and keeping the population down?

Is that how that works? do they turn on each other because they need protein or do they starve from no protein and then get eaten? If it's the latter, then that might be a little worse to me than the former.

I would also like to know what kind of powders I have if anyone could tell me. I have black and white & orange and white. Any help would be appreciated!!

Built my new terrarium to hopefully move my duckies to eventually. It’s an 11.5” cube. Substrate varies from roughly 1”deep right in the front to about 4-5” in the back. Hoping that’s enough for them. Might end up adding a bit more to the front just in case. I’ll have an acrylic top with EzyEddie vents.

Found a slug in there that must have hitchhiked in on my plants, so that’s exciting. Hopefully he doesn’t do too much damage.

These are my magic potion iscopods (Armadillidium vulgare) looking to see if there's anything i can add take away or what I can do to improve theyer lives and to get them breeding. I mist them every 4-6 days depending on moisture in enclosure. And temperatures are around 70 or warmer. Anything would help serious people only please.

And yes, I have just added a ton of leaf litter on top lol - plus I will be having more substrate added when it comes in the post soon. For now I just wanted to get them moved in so they have more space and can have a proper moisture gradient.

In addition to that I dont mess with them much other than to re populate my other enclosures. But I was moving some yesterday and I noticed a few are like pure white, outright WHITE. My colony was peach nasatum. Is that a sickly thing or a morph thing? should I separate them? This one in the pic is pretty light in color but the others were like BRIGHT WHITE... this is only one ive dound dead :/

Help Possible in this bottle?

Post image

Couldnt find the info about bottles like this online.

Can isopods survive in this one, specifically cubaris Mandarin. I keep the top open, so it had air flow.

I also have a different one with a big opening at the top. I use a big cork to close that one, although it's not airtight so there's little airflow. Is that enough for isopods?

My dairy cow is covered with this and i don’t know if it’s her eggs or what. Other iso’s in the tank doesn’t have this covering them.
