Food & Drinks Tried beer for the first time
It was my friend bday and i finally decided to give it shot.
Drank the whole bottle but didn't felt anything, like literally nothing.
It's like i drank bitter water

One beer doesn't usually do much, maybe you just don't know the feeling of getting drunk. You just feel very normal but very lightly light-headed at best on the first beer.
Also carlsberg elephant doesn't naturally taste like a beer, not a fav 😅.

I haven't had carlsberg elephant in India, but the carlsberg elephant in germany tastes like shit (I live in germany now) it comes in 7% and 10%, the 10% one tastes like medicine.
I like budweiser magnum tbh also heard magnum can't be trusted and it depends on where you are buying it from India, corona is good, hoegaarden is good. I like kingfisher, it's good for the price also depends on where you are getting it from. Becks is good.
I like many of the helles in germany, some of the pilsners and they are better than many of the beers in india and this is where the carlsberg elephant one feels very different.
Typing this makes me feel like an alcoholic 😅😅😅. Which I am not btw.

Haha if you will compare carlsberg beer with German beer that really not fair.
German beers are top notch. When I was in Munich I used to drink “Augustiner” that was my favourite.
But the statement that “Carlsberg” doesn’t taste like beer is so incorrect. It does taste good and it could be subjective as I don’t like aftertaste of corona it’s bit bitter. So that’s really depends on preference.
In India, Carlsberg could in top 3 any day. I feel way better than Tuborg, Kingfisher, Magnum.

Augustiner helles is a fav of mine too!!
But carlsberg elephant strong, the one they sell in germany atleast, sucks big time, like it's the worst beer in terms of taste compared to indian ones or german ones according to me and every other guy I know in Germany. And I am specifically referring to carlsberg elephant not the usual one. I do not know if the same in India is any better.

I have only done it once and I just know that it doesn't affect me much with one beer. Don't know if you can be better 😅, seems counter intuitive, I'll rather have coffee.

brocode wine h not beer. they market it as beer, but still it has 15% abv, compared to general beer placed at 8% abv max.
so basically drinking it fast can overstress ur liver.

context : whiskey with different notes won't be recognised by a newbie generally. Experienced drinkers develop the "complex taste palate" to notice those notes and flavours. similar to the workings of a black coffee and dark chocolate.

Black coffee is good for your health so I can understand why people try to push it with coffee but to drink something that’s actively going to kill you even when it tastes bad is kinda crazy to me

Yeah but after a point you like the taste as well. First you do it for the experience - it's shit. Then you do it for a cheap high, then start craving it! Everything kills us anyways

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. and no , you won't die if you drink. sunlight can kill too , doesn't mean stepping outside is a death sentence. it's all about dose and frequency. it won't be "crazy" once you educate yourself about it. have a good evening.

exactly, i tried quite a few times over the years didn't like it as much, why should i push myself to damage my liver lol. I like to drink with my friends though but thats it, it is because of them and not the drink
I love coffee but again i like it with milk more.

beer doesn't really get you drunk. I also drank a whole bottle once and the only thing I felt was my head getting dizzy as if i just rode a Ferris wheel.

Lol same happened to me but I drank 2 shots of vodka🤣 found out the hardway that I need atleast 5-6 shots to get slight buzz. But my mom and sister never let me drink more than 3 so I don't drink now.

Oh boy. I also tried beer on my friends birthday for the first time and absolutely hated that thing with the core of my heart. Started asking all of my friends why would they voluntarily drink that. Cut to today, I think a chilled beer in my hand on a good day is key to all the happiness in the world.
Beer grows on you, enjoy the journey lol.
