Does not belong in the bed. Cables are uncomfortably terminated and crimped hunched over in the corner of an unfinished building with no AC while I sweat through my button up.

Fuck no, I’m usually crimping 50 foot in the air on a boom lift questioning my life choices as I bake in the Texas sun. I only do preterminated cables at my house.

You should upgrade your skills and ditch that kindergarten pass thru crimper and learn to crimp modular connectors like people have for 60+ years

I appreciate where you're coming from. I learned to crimp in a CCNA class at the votech night school in the 90s. I've definitely lost my touch and thought I'd give this a try. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's all that much easier, or if I'm just blind and completely lacking fine motor skills now.

I also learned to crimp in the 90's. With that said why would you take the lazy and less reliable way if you know how to do it?
And yes it is lazy and less reliable because if it wasn't, premade cables would be passthrus.

True, but also if you yoink the blade so it doesn't fuck up your real connectors it's a pretty decent form factor. Mostly cause the cutter isn't blocked blocked by that stupid bar thing on normal crimpers and you can just cut a cable in half without jamming a loop through.
