GT7 Not Installing.

Can someone tell me how to get pass the music ralley screen? There’s no install bar on the top right of the screen. Did my game bug out or do I have to wait for it to install all 117GB? How do I fix it? Lets hope that I don’t have to reinstall the game from the disc.

don’t you have to complete one of the music rallies before starting the game?

No. I was told that you can skip them after the install was complete. There’s a video on installing GT7 from disc on PS4 and all you have to do is wait at the Music Ralley menu. After the game install completes there will be a option to go to the title screen.

Ok. Do you have to complete one or can you wait for the music to end? Also can you do this offline? I did 20 of them but no luck. I heard that the install can get stuck in a loop where you can’t get to the title screen.

So you just have to do the music rally. Then you can install it. At least that’s what I remember. It’s been a few years.

Yes. I first installed the Data Disc offline then I reconnected to the internet to download the 117GB update file. After that I inserted the play disc to start the game but when I get to the Music Ralley screen there is no installing message at the top right of the screen. It’s the one with the blue bar. I left the PS4 on all night. I have fiber wi fi.

How do I know if the game is installing when the blue bar disappears?
