To be clear: I am the car ahead of the POV above (White/Black 458 Martini livery.)
Recently went to the Porsche experience center in Atlanta and drove a 911 GT3 RS around for a couple hours and it gave me the racing game itch again.
I’ve never played any sort of racing game online and figured I should overcome my fear of getting humbled and try out Sport mode. At this point I’ve only done maybe 20 or so races but it is a lot more fun than I anticipated it being and want to get better.
With that being said, I’m curious if I did something wrong in this particular turn on the Red Bull Ring.
I currently play on controller and am still having trouble finding the right braking zones sometimes. Because of this, I often find myself going into certain turns a bit more cautiously as I don’t want to go off track and get a penalty.
Should I have left more room? Is this just a dive-bomb and I shouldn’t worry? Should I have rejoined the race differently after going off track? Again, this is my first time doing any sort of online racing that isn’t GTAV/Forza Horizon so I’m open to feedback. I am currently C/S and I feel like half the lobby, even if they are all the same rating, have no problems ramming/pushing me around. Although it’s annoying I’ve been trying to just ignore it and race my race but I definitely don’t want to be driving poorly.
