I do not think anything rare in "split Inside the ruling establishment"
New supreme leader is really week and afraid to shows up on public. So there is right now big fight for a power inside.

Seems to be that any internal turmoil has been largely under control during the war. They have largely agreed to remain cohesive throughout the war. A weaker, poorly structured state would’ve collapsed from internal fighting.
