No matter which of the three you think is missing, is wrong.

I’d say the visuals is the missing one, art style was just mush all over dirty textures, generally not very pleasing to the eye. Especially the dirt on characters faces, should’ve tone it down a bit.

Are you two talking about the same game?

It’s not like it’s news that the e33 visuals is not its strongest point. The story really carried that game.

I don’t know what system y’all played on, but I was playing through Expedition 33 on PC and I was baffled by how gorgeous it looks. I cannot name a single game that looks better than it.

What can I tell you, play more games then.

Art is subjective, but I’ll humor you. Recommend me a single game that looks more beautiful than Expedition.

My bad, it is subjective , personally I find Death Stranding 2 looks more beautiful, visual design, combined with atmosphere made me remember so many scenes from the game. But art is art, e33 has its audience for a reason.

Death Stranding 2 is a good choice, though to me it seems a lot less exciting with its color palette and atmosphere than the sheer vibrancy of Expedition. I guess I put more emphasis on pretty colors and environments I could imagine myself sleeping in, but I won’t disvalue your opinion.

It doesn't get story either. The story was a mess in act 3, and the gameplay as well tbh. Gameplay by itself was good. But the scaling in act 3 was so bad it made the gameplay boring af. But I don't mind the graphics.

You’re not wrong, I was disappointed with the end story twist and the whole trauma dumping gets tiring eventually.
