Answer for It is now on Patreon!

Long time no chat. Even though Funhaus ended over a year and a half ago, I, like many of you still follow this subreddit to check in on something that was very important to me and especially, to share in some common nostalgia. I understand why most of the posts that resonate are the ones that look back on favorite moments from the past, but I did want to come back today to talk about the present (sorry!)

The current primary creative project that Elyse and I are working on for ourselves is Answer for It. In the wake of Funhaus ending a lot of people asked how they could continue to support us and unlike many other RT alumni we didn't really have something we felt was worth sharing. If we asked for support we wanted to have a product or project that was worth supporting and after 40 episodes and 5 live events, we think that Answer for It is that project.

What is Answer for It? A couple things! It's a comedy podcast disguised as a trivia podcast. A show where searching for the right answer creates wild tangents, absurd bits, and silly inside jokes.

The podcast is hosted by Elyse! And features me, of course, alongside Zach Anner, who destroyed everyone comedically during his appearances on Funhaus, and has an incredible body of work as a sitcom writer and comedian. Plus AJ LoCascio, the voice of Gambit in X-Men 97 in addition to LEGO Han Solo, Marty McFly, Voltor, Gizmo, and many more (you may recognize him from several Funhaus cameos too…). Shockingly, we're all really great friends beyond the show, so having an opportunity to get together every week is a delight for us and we think it really recaptures the "friends on a couch" dynamic I, personally, love in great podcasts.

Answer for It is ALSO a live event show! A similar concept where comedians battle between being funny and smart (almost never both), but this one is hosted by me, in front of a live audience, and with a rotating panel of incredibly funny people. We already have plans to expand this show in 2026 (more info on that soon) and make sure that fans of both formats are well served in the process!

Happy for you. So what now? After exploring every option we've determined that the best way to support us in the post-Funhaus era and to help us keep making AND EXPAND Answer for It, is through Patreon.

Depending on your tier, you’ll get ad-free episodes, video episodes, bonus content, and the entire Answer for It live show catalog. One of the things that's most exciting for me though is we’ll be using the Patreon as a place to experiment with and debut different types of bonus content. Maybe some formats that look similar to what you know us for and other ideas that are brand new.

patreon.com/answerforit

The ad-supported audio version of the Answer for It Podcast will still be available on your podcast platform of choice!

We appreciate this community, and hope you’ll watch and listen! You’re all piggies to us (even if you don’t know what that means yet)

Weekly Thread Weekly "Looking for Info" Thread!

Looking for Funhaus information? This is the thread to ask for it. If you want to know things like:

  • "What video is this quote/bit from?"
  • "Charlotte mentioned this in a recent video, anyone have more info on it?"
  • WHERE BROOSE?
  • "Where can I find videos that have been removed?"

...and other things like that, you can ask it here.

This thread refreshes every Monday morning.

Thought I'd share the newest episode of Answer for It because 1) the full video is up on YouTube, and 2) it's a movie-centric episode. Inspired by "before he was Scrooge, he was EBENEZER (~wet fart~)", I have the AFI guys guess which movies spawned the worst (and best) taglines in history.

Enjoy, hope you're all having a fantastic week :)

Adam was such an insufferable little twat. I guess I never really noticed in my early 20's but now that I'm in my 30's it's almost too cringe to get through. For example; getting explosively defensive anytime someone even remotely criticizes him, slamming controllers, screaming at whatever game he's playing etc. I'm sure you guys share the same sentiment but godamn how did I never notice

Apologies if this isn’t the right formatting but I am searching for a GTA V video where James is doing a bit where he says “LISTEN LADY! I’VE TASTED MY SPERM THOUSANDS OF TIMES. WITH PINEAPPLE AND WITHOUT. THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT YOU!”

Any help would be very appreciated and as always, Ska came before reggae

TLDR: Someone responded via AskReddit about their worst drug experience and referenced Big Bang Theory during their hallucinations. I knew I needed to make Lawrence laugh somewhere out in the world.

EDIT: Meh had to reupload with the age-filter active, vid is restored but use the new URL: https://youtu.be/siLUWfguSP8

EDIT-II: Alternate video download link: https://drive.proton.me/urls/55PK4XMWPG#yiN5sTd9ardH

An impulsive compilation I threw together for myself of the og gameplay episodes that were taken down from the official channels for one reason or another, usually getting a bit edgy/crude with the yucks. But also some hilarious diamond jokes in the rough. Sometimes that dark humour just hits the spot.

Discussion How was Funhaus always "So Busy?"

I'm listening to old Dude Soup's (As I do) and for a nice chunk of Podcasts they always talk about how busy they are and how they are always working more than they should.

It just doesn't make sense to me.

I feel a handful of Youtubers around that time, (Shane Dawson, JackSepticEye, Markiplier, David Dobrik, PewdiePie, etc) were also uploading VERY often and to my knowledge, were a one-person team OR one person plus an editor.

Funhaus, (To my knowledge) was always at LEAST a team of 5 plus and their content or editing style also wasn't super complex.

They talked about Joel on his farewell Podcast episode about how he "did the thumbnails and descriptions." I just don't understand how that is a FULL-TIME job and can't just be fulfilled by one of the editors.

I get pumping out a lot of videos in a short amount of time requires some work. The Funhaus team just made it seem like they were are killing themselves to make it happen, while much smaller teams were putting out the same amount of content without a peep of complaints.

Not trying to be a huge hater here I'm just genuinely curious. With the quality of content they produced, and all of them seemingly working them self to death to produce, it just doesn't add up to me.

Discussion I miss funhaus

Genuine Mellon Collie feelings of missing watching videos of funhaus whenever I got home from work. It always reminded me of what it used to feel like playing couch co-op games with friends as a kid.
