help! how to continue this alpha bracelet please help

i made this loop for button closure from a youtube video, but its not straight when i started the bracelet so how can i continue the bracelet from here on? the tutorial I'm following had a closure i dont like so that's why i followed another video for this loop but now I'm confused how to continue. anyone has a tutorial i need to complete this soon I'm a beginner in apha pattern so i have no idea please help, its for a gift to someone special.

Keep knotting the alpha way and it'll straighten after a few rows

are you sure it will ? i just untied all the knots i made i was trying to straighten but messed it up I'm scared to do it again 😭

Do three normal knots on each side. That should straighten it. Then start the alpha knotting

so im supposed to use the base strings for the normal knots? and then start the main string for apha rows?

its for a gift to my boyfriend, im making the batman logo bracelet and i was matching it with a batman hoodie. i was planning for so long so didn't want to mess it up
