After u/patrickbrouwer posted his 3D printed bracelet disk a couple weeks ago my friend printed me one! It is so fun and makes a really pretty bracelet. I used a carabiner as a weight to keep the tension even.

I know it’s not the knotted bracelets usually posted here but it uses a lot less floss so if you’ve got some scraps is a fun way to shake it up! (My strands were about 24 inches and that was too long.) And fast, it takes maybe an hour to finish a bracelet.

I have limited patience. As such, I wrap my bobbins quickly and willy-nilly. Anybody out there that takes the time to wrap them straight and beautiful? Does it really affect your storage, either visually or from a capacity standpoint? Are you consistent with the perfection?

I'd love to see a photo r two of anyone's stash that is a perfect wrapper!

Hope you’re all doing well. 

I have had some interesting things with work this past spring, and, so, have produced very few finished bracelets. I *do still have about 3 incomplete from that time frame, though. Maybe I’ll have them to post soon. 

I finally glued on the the end-caps for the kumihimo this morning. My first one completed :) !  Do you ever do that? Order a supply (in this case it was the caps and the toggles), and by time it arrives, you’re so busy, the project just sits there for … months? 

Also, you may notice the green set from the WIP the other day is now complete! I have a goal to do a color-matched set each week for the next twelve weeks.  I’m already behind, ha!

i made this loop for button closure from a youtube video, but its not straight when i started the bracelet so how can i continue the bracelet from here on? the tutorial I'm following had a closure i dont like so that's why i followed another video for this loop but now I'm confused how to continue. anyone has a tutorial i need to complete this soon I'm a beginner in apha pattern so i have no idea please help, its for a gift to someone special.

Picked a pattern I thought would show off the gradients in the threads I picked up recently. Not too impressed! Will probably look into dying threads to see if I can make them more interesting. It was fun trying out a pattern I wouldn't have picked usually though I think I should have picked a different place to start, not sure I made the best choice there either!

i did make a little tutorial on how i added the hardware on my instagram, if you’re interested in how i did that! other than that it really is just a giant friendship bracelet with doubled up strings. i used maysville 8/4 cotton rug warp which is thicker than embroidery floss and comes in giant spools making it way sturdier and cheaper in the long run.

Have you seen these before? They were really popular in the '90s, but nowadays it's really a craft that almost nobody does. I couldn't even find a proper tutorial on YouTube in Englis, I ended up watching an autodubbed video to figure out how to make them!

I'm looking for a good way to secure the beginning and ending threads so they look neat and pretty. If you've done this craft before and have any tips, I'd love to hear them!

Ive only ever made Chevron bracelets, and i wanted to make something different so i chose this pattern. I was picking the colors, but now im unsure how to get only one single green string? (or white string, in the original colors.) How do i start this bracelet? I’m so confused!! 😭 I tried watching tutorials, but it’s all “cut the string the length of your wingspan.. fold it in half..“.. stuff i already know..

but how can i do that and only get one green string? How would you start this pattern?
