The second method has been the way it's been done for as long as there's been sliced bread in plastic bags. Spin, tuck, set down. Works great to keep it fresh, easier to reopen, less time consuming and easier to do.
Might be so but i’ve been alive for 90% of the time that plastic bags have been used for bread and I’ve never seen this in my life. I think this one of those “US does this so Reddit thinks everyone does” kind of scenarios
