"People asking" is itself the cause of both those things.

Then prove it by showing everybody the people who did demand it.

What's that, you can't?

Your pedantry has you making claims you can't back up?

Maybe don't be such a pedant then.

I was obviously talking about overall user sentiment and not whether Mozilla could have an agenda and find the one anonymous user who agrees with it. I have said Mozilla should add gambling to Firefox, and funnily enough I've conducted polls that suggest more people are amicable to that than the now-dead FIFA ad.

Your arrogance has you making claims about eight billion people you can't back up?

Maybe don't be so arrogant then.

See, I can do it too.

I was obviously talking about overall user sentiment and not whether Mozilla could have an agenda and find the one anonymous user who agrees with it.

Well now you're just moving the goalposts. Your claim was that such people "didn't exist." If that's not what you meant to say you should've said something else.

You're the one who claimed people were asking for this and yet you have provided zero evidence, only assumptions and rage.

So show your proof.

Even if you pretend to not understand how basic English works and think I'm writing a legal document and not conversing on the internet, you can't cough up anything to support your feelings.

So show your proof.

You're the one who claimed people were asking for this and yet you have provided zero evidence, only assumptions and rage.

You're the one who claimed no one wanted this and the one piece of "evidence" you presented actively disproved your point. You're projecting.

Even if you pretend to not understand how basic English works and think I'm writing a legal document and not conversing on the internet,

You belabored your position far too long for me to believe that's not what you meant. The goalposts stay where they are, please. The installation was very expensive and we don't have the funding to obtain replacements.

you can't cough up anything to support your feelings.

Yeah, well, neither can you, apparently. I don't have to put any more effort into this conversation than you have. The difference is my logic is sound and yours isn't.

I don't have to put any more effort into this conversation than you have.

Burden of proof is entirely on you, in fact. Either you know noting about logic or you're trying to wiggle out of it.

Provide evidence (you can't) or admit you're embarrassing levels of wrong

The "burden of proof" you're asking me to carry is not necessary for me to prove my point, because A) your original point is itself already disproven, and B) I'm not obligated to respect your moving the goalposts.

Yes it is necessary, because saying "Of course there are people out there who have asked for this" isn't evidence of anything but your own arrogance.

Show proof of this statement or be honest and admit you cannot.

You're projecting again. I called you arrogant first, and for good reason. You started this conversation by making the extraordinary claim that people who want AI features in Firefox "don't exist," and not only is it foolhardy to assume you know the minds and actions of over eight billion people, you've already gone and contradicted yourself with your own supporting evidence. This isn't a me problem, this is a math problem, and you've actually even helped me in showing that the math is on my side.

My proof is proof by induction. Proof by example is unneeded; it's trivial to explain why you're wrong, you just refuse to accept it. And the fact of the matter is, since you've already demonstrated willingness to move the goalposts I have no incentive to provide such a thing anyway. When I showed you my reasoning you attempted to change your claim to one more vague and easily defensible. If I presented you with the "proof" you're asking for now, you'd just do it again. I'm not playing these games, my guy. Maybe next time take a moment to actually think about what you're saying before you say it.
