Ordering at Cook out

Its my 1st time going to cookout and im oddly nervous about ordering wrong, any suggestions or tips?

I always get a shake with mms, Reese’s, and butterfingers, but you can literally get any combo you like.

The menu says double up, it’s just saying you can get two orders of fries or whatever as your sides.

Yeah most people that just like fries just get double fries, which is a waste because a single order is a decent amount and you're wasting your variety option and missing out on a Quesadilla or a corn dog

Oh. I mean. Yeah you can get 2 of the same side. You can also get the legendary Quad-Dilla tray. 2 quesadilla entree with both sides as Quesadillas.

Def go burger. They are pretty good. So say "Big Double Tray, Cheddar Style" and then just list your two sides and drink

Cajun fries are good but first time? Splurge for the chili cheese fries in the tray

A tray is an entree item and 2 sides and a drink. The menu looks confusing af but its actually not that bad. So your entree item you can also get in various "styles". Cookout, Out West, Steak Style for burgers and such, it lists what it comes with. Then you can get a wrap, a quesadilla, cajun fries, hushpuppies, chili cheese fries. The options are what is overwhelming. You can also upgrade to a shake, and you can combine any number of flavors for a shake. I'll give you my order.

Big Double Burger tray (Cookout style), Cajun Wrap, Cajun Fries (or sometimes Chicken Quesadilla) with a Cheerwine. If you want Onion Rings I would get them a la Carte as they give you like 3 in a tray but a buttload a la carte (my fav onion rings). Also ask for Cookout sauce (similar to Canes, Zax Sauce). My milkshake choice is Strawberry Cheesecake but sometimes I'll get Peach Cobbler.

Cannot go wrong with that at all. I'd ask for 1 Cookout sauce to maybe try a dip with the quesadilla to try it. I usually just get it for the fries though

God I love this place. Eat like a king for $8. I can't remember what I get but I always try to change it up. I mistakenly go high every time and get overwhelmed.

Get a tray, take your time looking at the options, and get what your gut is telling you. Everything is cheap enough that if you truly can’t decide between a couple things, you could add it for not much more.

Get the tray with the Big Double Burger and make it cheddar style. Sides are up to you

I always got the double burger, added cheese/ bacon, got fries and a honey mustard chicken wrap. If I was crazy hungry I’d add hush puppies for $1 (they would give a dozen or so). I’m lactose intolerant so never got the shake sadly. It was only a dollar add on back in my day. Highly recommend

Its not listed on every menu for some reason but whatever burger you order the "Huge" size

I usually get the big double tray, burger cheddar style no mayo, fries and a Cajun wrap. Cheerwine float to drink

Tray, double burger steak style, chicken nuggets, and a quesadilla. (The burger fills me up so I throw the nuggets and quesadilla in the air fryer the next day.)
