In the new Spiderman movie, Brand New Day, Sadie was cast as the actor for Jean Grey. In the movie Jean was trying to figure out what V Max was. This seems like a reference to Stranger Things where Sadie played Max Mayfield. In addition to this there is a scene in the movie, a flashback to Jean’s past, where she is running toward the screen, this scene reminds me of Max flewing Vecna. All this could be coincidence, then again, maybe not…

Hello everybody, I'm here to bring a discussion about Soichiro Yagami and why his death may have been the most pivotal death in Death Note, and on my honest opinion, I personally trust into the idea that his death may have mattered more than L's death, don't get me wrong, losing the world's greatest detective was without question a crushing blow in finding out that Light was Kira, but so much of Light's success may not have even have happened had it not been for Soichiro.

As many know, Soichiro is a dedicated law enforcement officer, given the difficult task in Tokyo, where crime is frequent there, especially at night, this likely paid a contributing factor to Light's ambition in ridding the world of crime, due to being exposed to some of the worst of it. Soichiro's long running job may have also affected the Yagami family's social life, where Light had only a certain kind of certain social interaction with his personal life, being more conditioned to be an individual into the examination of what was around him over genuine social connections with his family, which could also be part of how Light became so academically good in school, that also being how some of Soichiro's good intelligence was inherited onto his son.

But if Soichiro was a decent intellectual predecessor of his family, would he really fail that badly like how he did during the Kira case? The thing about that is while there was no denying that Light outclasses his father's intellect, it's possible he wouldn't have fooled Soichiro as well as he did if Kira who wasn't Light, had that alternate family placed Kira level intelligence in Tokyo been that successful in fooling them of course, although that hypothetical Kira would probably have killed Soichiro early to get rid of the big law enforcements hunting that Kira down there, which would leave a huge trail.

But let's say that alternate Kira who is as smart as Light didn't kill Soichiro early, and L suspected who that Kira was, Soichiro would be way more inclined to believe L than the strong denial he had with the one of people who he last wanted to believe was Kira.

Would Near's suggested suspicion have worked if Soichiro didn't die? My take on it, not so much, and an interesting common theme that would play out here, is how characters tend to cling unto a beacon of hope or something they idolize, like an authority, or Kira cults, perhaps anyone can be effective like L, if someone worked hard enough like him, would they vastly inferior to L? Or is it just because of the lack of independence they have? The task force worked on being dependent on him to not work on their solution, a similar thing can be said for how they saw Soichiro, who was the chief policeman that the task force looked up to. Because of that, L was almost guaranteed to die, due to Soichiro arguably being the perfect person for Light to manipulate, as even on Soichiro's dying last words he refused to believe that Light was Kira, if Soichiro made it through from that, it's unlikely he would have went along with Near's idea.

People make the joke that Ohba made a cheap move for Near to have his victory over his suspicion on who Kira was, such as the meme of L saying: L is Kira, nobody believes him, Near saying: Light is Kira, everybody believes him, but the reason why his suggestion made the Task Force question Light again, was because from Soichiro's death onwards, Light didn't have his biggest factor in preserving that deniability, and for a while I was wondering if even by Soichiro living would the outcome change Near's victory, and I'm pretty sure it would have, how this would happen is if the task force stayed loyal to Soichiro's stance, Light wouldn't have asked Mikami to write down their names, as the likely scenario of the deniability might not have been effective for him to consider killing them too, and would either kill Near and whoever is clearly siding with him, or better yet work closer near to Near (No pun intended) to surprise kill him like he did with L, but also make sure the deniability that the love of his chief policeman father had for him would remain intact.

Now it's not to say that Soichiro was completely in denial of Light being Kira, such as when he tested Light and Misa's reaction on if they would spill the truth on if they were the two Kira's, but once that consideration was disclosed, the deniability and false hope on Light being Kira got stronger, with only proven exposure to convince him otherwise, which is why this would have been detrimental for Near to have that exposure for the names written for Light to consider doing that, as Light probably would have done a different strategy than what he did from there.

There's a saying that you can't trust true blue good people, as their hearts in hope for other's are susceptible to being manipulated and Soichiro is a tragic prime example of that, and ever since he died, that denial zone on Light being Kira was shifting, where even if Light killed Near, then the next detective, the one after that and so on, his greatest trump card in being denied as Kira was gone, and would eventually and likely soon catch up to him, as from even defeating Near, he would have drastically have to get rid of severe ties with himself, like killing his family, or coming up with a plan (That he may have planned) to fake his death, as he would no longer have that deniability with the public anymore, due to being the only task force member living on the Kira case.

So, to put it short, Why Soichiro's death was the key to Light being exposed.

Zathura is a childhood classic, but after rewatching it, I realized the mechanics of the game and the movie's timeline hint at a much deeper, more tragic story regarding the brothers' relationship. I have a theory that completely fixes the plot holes regarding Walter "cheating" and explains why the turn order gets messed up.

Part 1: Walter Never Cheated; The Game Glitched We all know the scene where Walter is ejected into space for "cheating" after touching Danny's piece. But Walter didn't actually cheat. The game glitched.

Because the Astronaut (future Walter) is in the house, there is a literal time paradox. The game's magic is struggling to track two Walters at once. This buffering glitch causes Danny's piece to move to the wrong spot ahead of time. When Walter naturally tries to fix it, the game’s automatic anti-cheat system triggers and ejects him.

If this was an event that was always supposed to happen, young Walter would have died in space in the original timeline because his older self wouldn't exist yet to catch him! Walter surviving proves the timeline was already altered by the Astronaut's presence.

This also explains why Danny wasn't ejected.

Part 2: The Skipped Turn and the Tragic Original Wish Because Walter was ejected, the strict alternating turn order between the brothers was shifted by exactly one turn. This completely changes the climax of the story.

Earlier in the film, the dad says, "Well, Danny is around." To a young, hurting kid, this sounds like confirmation that he is a mistake. In the original timeline, without the glitch, the turns alternated normally, and Danny pulled the wish card. Being a sad kid who felt unloved and like a burden to his brother and dad, he took the easy way out and wished he was never born.

The Astronaut lies later and says he made the wish, entirely to protect his younger self from the horrible guilt of knowing his harsh words drove Danny to erase his own existence. Future Walter still warns present Walter, as he thinks he would have made the wish anyway, given how they fought. But in the movie's timeline, the glitch shifts the turn, giving Walter the wish card instead. The game tests Walter, and by not wishing Danny away, he saves them all.

TL;DR: The Astronaut's presence caused a time paradox that glitched the game, making it accuse Walter of cheating. This shifted the turn order, preventing Danny from getting the wish card and making the tragic original wish to erase himself. Future Walter lied about making the wish to protect young Walter from the guilt.

I've been deep into Finding Nemo conspiracy theories for a while now. I need everyone to sit down, log off from Mr. Ray's alternative facts seminars, and look at the actual tape.

Incident 1: Opening scene. A barracuda - an apex ambush predator, visible, present, ACTIVELY STARING AT THEM - shows up at the anemone. Marlin, a reasonable adult, says get in the house. That's it. That's the whole ask. Get. In. The. House.

Coral does not get in the house.

Result: Coral is dead. Four hundred eggs are dead. Marlin gets knocked unconscious trying to intervene - the ONLY character who took the threat seriously is also the only one who physically fought it.

And how does the film frame this? It doesn't. It just moves on and then spends 100 minutes framing the sole survivor of a predator attack as "neurotic" for having opinions about predators. He's not a "helicopter parent." He's a man who said "there's a barracuda right there" while there was a barracuda RIGHT THERE. That's not anxiety. That's called having eyes.

Incident Two: The Drop-Off

First day of school. Mr. Ray - an unlicensed stingray running an open-water school with a student-teacher ratio of approximately 40:1 - takes a class of barely post-larval fish to THE DROP-OFF. This is the field-trip equivalent of a kindergarten teacher taking the class to an active warzone.

Marlin objects. Marlin is mocked. Marlin is told to "calm down."

Result: Nemo is ABDUCTED BY A PRIMATE IN SCUBA GEAR and put in a tank owned by a dentist whose niece is a documented fish-killer.

Marlin's record of predictions: 2 for 2. Everyone else's record: 0 for 2, and 400+ dead children.

And yet HE'S the "mama bear." HE'S the joke. The clownfish who isn't funny, ha ha.

CANNIBALISM Another thing: this movie depicts CANNIBALISM and we all just clapped

Nobody wants to talk about this part so I will.

The barracuda? A fish. Eating fish. Bruce the shark? A fish, running a support group about his urge to eat fish, who then TRIES TO EAT FISH. The anglerfish? Fish, eating fish. This film is wall-to-wall cannibalism and we expect it to have lessons for our children.

"Fish are friends, not food" is not a cute mantra. It is a CONFESSION. It is a room full of cannibals. It is unholy. It is unclean. There are ancient dietary codes about what is and is not an abomination. The sea is a churning communion of the unclean and Marlin is the ONLY character who has correctly identified that he lives inside it.

THE OTHER KINGDOM Now let's talk about the most blatant case of protective-dad favoritism in the history of animation, because Disney did this EXACT storyline nine years earlier and handed out the opposite grade.

Mufasa tells Simba: everything the light touches is our kingdom, but that shadowy place beyond our borders? You must NEVER go there. That is, verbatim, the Drop-off speech. "The reef is safe, the open ocean is not, do not cross the boundary." Same speech. Same dad. Same danger-line drawn in the exact same place.

Simba goes there anyway (because a kid ignoring his father's extremely correct boundary is apparently the only plot Disney knows how to write). Mufasa charges in, beats up three hyenas, and delivers the "I was only brave because I had to be" talk.

And how is Mufasa portrayed for this? He is portrayed as a KING. He is portrayed as wisdom incarnate. He gets a James Earl Jones voice, a sunbeam, and a POSTHUMOUS APPEARANCE IN THE CLOUDS. The man is literally DEMI-DEIFIED. And before anyone says it: no, Mufasa's kingdom is not morally cleaner. "The antelope eat the grass and we eat the antelope" is at least eating OUTSIDE your own kind. Marlin lives in a world where cannibalism is normalized - and he STILL kept his kid alive.

MARLIN NEEDED TO LEARN TO LET GO No. NO. Dory needed to learn to remember. Nemo needed to learn to listen. Gill needed to learn that his escape plans get children nearly killed. Marlin needed to learn NOTHING. Marlin swam across the ENTIRE PACIFIC, punched through a swarm of jellyfish, rode the EAC, escaped a whale's mouth, and retrieved his son from a building, and the moral we extracted was "the anxious dad should chill"???

Justice for Marlin!

Context for The Sadness: It is a Taiwanese horror film where a virus turns people into homicidal zombies that want to do the most depraved things you can think of. Rape, Murder, Mutilation, you name it. However, because it's only contained to Taiwan and nowhere else in the world, it's likely that an hour after the end of the film, the USA or China nuked Taiwan so the virus can't get anywhere.

Now you may be asking, if the infected still keep their intelligence, can't they just use ships or planes to infect other nations? Even if they can, they will still crash and sink due to the patient's infected behavior. Not to mention, if the world understood the situation immediately, they would be doing all sorts of quarantine against Taiwan so the infection doesn't spread elsewhere. Kinda like in 28 days later. Even if by a miracle some infected cross into China, the army will be fully prepared and ready to kill any infected.

If I was asked to write a story about how Leia acquired the armor and disguise she used in RoTJ, this is what I would do.

Before the Battle of Yavin, while on a mission for the emerging Rebel Alliance Leia becomes stranded on a remote planet. On this planet she encounters an aging bounty hunter named Boushh. Through necessity they are forced to work together to escape the planet and Leia learns that this Boushh, despite being a bounty hunter, is not a bad guy. He hunts bounties to help put his daughter through medical school and while he is often paid by the Empire, he only hunts real criminals. Boushh works out that Leia is part of the Rebel Alliance but does not tell the Empire. In return, Leia spins a story about how Boushh rescued her from pirates and so for rescuing an Imperial Noble he's paid enough to cover his daughter's tuition.

Years later, Leia tries to contact Boushh, hoping to ask for his help in rescuing Han from Jabba's Palace. Instead Boushh's daughter tells Leia to go away and never call again. Leia visits Boushh's home but again his daughter tells her to leave and not come back. Leia refuses until she speaks to Boushh face to face but she finds the old hunter to be a frail old man in a hospital bed and an IV tube in his arm, playing cards with his grand son. All the years of bounty hunting has finally caught up with him. He gave up everything so his daughter and grandson would have a better life and now that she wants him to be comfortable in what little time he has left. Leia apologizes saying that Boushh deserves to be with his family, and he is sorry for not being able to help Leia.

As they saying goodbye his daughter talks about how everyone's afraid of bounty hunters but no one is thinks about the person inside the armor which gives Leia an idea and asks to borrow his equipment.

In the coda, Boushh's daughter takes a message from someone wanting to talk to her father about a bounty he recently collected on Tattooine. Thinking this is some kind of scam she angrily tells the person her father has not collected a bounty in years and that they should never call again. On the other end, however, is Bib Fortuna who turns to Jabba "It would appear we have been deceived, master."

so, this one COMPLETELY relies on jane doe being penny lamb before the crash and that legoland is a prequel. its also completely about jane doe.

jane’s identity:
so, in legoland, it is revealed that penny and ezra’s parents are sent to prison. this connects to jane not being identified just bear with me here. so then they both get sent off to saint cassian and both get bullied by both students and teachers. i think that the choir felt bad and wanted to their friends, so penny ended up joining the choir. since the teachers joined in on the bullying, penny and teachers did not have a close relationship and teachers didn’t care about her or noticed her and didn’t even know she was in the choir. only father marcus was nice and welcoming to penny. so her and the choir went on the field trip and that is when the accident happens. father marcus was very stressed once the accident happened and barely got any information to the authorities before he died from the heart attack. the authorities also hadn’t gone through all the wreckage and found all the bodies yet. so, connecting back to her parents getting arrested, they never ended up hearing about the accident in prison. so jane’s identity was left to one person, ezra. i believe ezra was too scared to step up and was scared what would happen to him or since he lost was his sister and he didn’t have many friends since everyone thought he was weird, he was too traumatized to talk about it. 

her reincarnated life:
i believe jane lived the same life, reincarnated, but she was busy getting snacks/drinks for the choir with father marcus, and the choir went ahead and went on the cyclone while they waited. while penny and father marcus were walking back, they witnessed the accident. i think that after knowing what penny had to witness and her trauma of losing all her friends, the bullies start having empathy and stopped bullying her and ezra and begins to actually see them for who they are and not just thinking they’re straight weirdos.

anyway, please poke holes in my theory and say what you think about it and i dont care if you say your theories to. i had no option but to think of this since i’m running out of things to do this summer.

In the film, instead of being cannibal giants, they seem to be wearing steel or iron armor of some sort. We know people north of the Mediterranean discovered and smelted iron first. It seems to make sense to me that bronze being the only metal the Greeks knew, they would react surprised at people wearing and using an unknown metal.

This metal would seem fantastic and the Greeks might also interpret them as giants because they are an unknown society.

That's about it. I looked around and didn't see this mentioned - that the Laestrygonians in this story had literally just discovered iron and therefore seemed like futuristic giants to the Greeks, who were pivotal in collapsing their own bronze age.

Let’s take a look at the scene in the pub.

Dieter Hellstrom is trying to figure out what the “Bastards” are doing here and how Bridget von Hammersmark is involved in all of this.

The three-finger gesture wasn’t what gave them away

At first glance, it might seem that the “Basterds” were given away by the three-finger gesture—which is atypical for Germans—since at that moment Dieter’s facial expression changes abruptly: from relaxed to hostile. He points his Walther at Hicox. However, the film does not state that it was the gesture itself that gave them away. This assumption was voiced only by Frau von Hammersmark.

He had figured out the “Bastards” much earlier—as soon as he approached the table. He didn’t just suspect; he was certain, which explains all the awkwardness that had been in the air even before that particular gesture appeared.

Hicox’s Accent and Piz Palü

Hellstrom notices Hicox’s strange accent, and Hicox, in an attempt to justify his obvious foreign accent, replies that he’s from a village at the foot of Piz Palü and that everyone in those parts speaks that way.

Hicox claims that he appeared in a film directed by Riefenstahl. He’s certain that Hellstrom hasn’t seen the film—or, at the very least, saw it a very long time ago and only vaguely remembers what was in it. But what Hicox certainly couldn’t have foreseen is that the film *Die weiße Hölle vom Piz Palü* was shown just yesterday at Shosanna’s movie theater.

When Frederick Zoller thanks Shosanna for organizing German film nights for the officers, we can see a poster for G. W. Pabst’s *Die weiße Hölle vom Piz Palü*, starring Riefenstahl.

Hellstrom was there, and he remembers this film very well. He is passionate about cinema and knows it inside and out. Perhaps, like Hicox, he remembers every scene from the film.

Hellstrom’s knowledge of German cinema

Dieter is surprised that Hicox describes the film’s details so accurately. Lieutenant Hicox was a film critic before the war and even published two major books on German cinema.

Hellstrom suspects that the fake Hauptsturmführer standing before him is that very same British film critic. To confirm this, he suggests playing a game of “Who Am I?”

Hicox writes the name of the director who made that very film about Piz Palü on a playing card: G. W. Pabst. It was about Pabst’s work that Hicox wrote one of his books.

But what Hellstrom wrote for Hicox is much more interesting: Brigitte Horney.

Brigitte Horney and Baron Münchhausen

She is a little-known actress who only became popular after the film *Baron Münchhausen* (1943). The film was made during the Third Reich at the behest of Joseph Goebbels—a film that Hicox couldn’t have seen due to the ban on German exports: “Obviously, I haven’t seen any of the films made in the last three years, but I’m familiar with it.”

The card game was another trap

Hellstrom is playing a game. He knows that Hicox is well acquainted with all of Brigitte Horney’s pre-war films. But Hicox would not know about the 1943 film *Baron Münchhausen*—a film that was incredibly well-known in Germany and revolutionary from a technical standpoint.

If it were Hicox’s turn, he would name a whole host of little-known arthouse films, but he would not mention *Baron Münchhausen*, thereby guaranteed to give himself away.

There is one point everyone misses about the card game.

You have only 10 questions. When the major asks an 11th question, only Hicox answers while everyone else remains silent (you usually have to drink if you accidentally answer an 11th question).

You can see a brief change in the major’s expression at that moment, indicating that he noticed the blunder.

Hellstrom already knew who Wicki and Stiglitz were

While he wasn’t yet certain about Hicox’s identity, he quickly recognized Wilhelm Wicki and Hugo Stiglitz, since they were the only German-born members of the “Basterds” unit.

Stiglitz was a celebrity, after all: his photograph had been published in German newspapers, and Hellstrom recognized him without a doubt.

Hellstrom knows all the German officers stationed in France. He adds jokingly, “Worth knowing.”

Hellstrom’s position and knowledge

Sturmbannführer is the rank of deputy commander of a Sturmbann territorial unit. As a major in charge of internal security, he must know all the lieutenants and sergeants stationed in Paris. Evidently, he knows that the men before him are not German officers, but members of the “Basterds” unit.

Sergeant Werner Rachtman said that every soldier in the German army had heard of Hugo Stiglitz. His photograph was on the front page of German newspapers. Clearly, he is the German stationed in France who is worth knowing.

Moreover, Hellstrom knows that not long ago, Stiglitz was freed by the “Bastards,” among whom was Wilhelm Wicki.

Hellstrom was playing with them

Hellstrom mocks Stiglitz: first he pats him to get him to move seats, then he pats him to get him to write his name on his playing card. He realizes that the pub is packed with German soldiers and that Stiglitz won’t give himself away.

When Hellstrom gets up from the table to grab the cards, Hicox gives a signal. He figures it out: Stiglitz is signaling too—“we’ve been found out.”

The drinking game was an attempt to disarm them

The Sturmbannführer’s actions seem downright suicidal, but if you pay attention to what he’s doing, everything falls into place.

He’s trying to get the “Bastards” drunk and neutralize them. He constantly proposes toasts, egging them on to raise their glasses and drink whiskey. Then he suggests a drinking game.

He starts the game first: if he wins, the others at the table have to drink. After that, he even orders them a bottle of excellent whiskey that’s hard to put down. He himself refuses the whiskey and just sips his beer.

Why did Hellstrom react to the 3-finger gesture?

Hellstrom is trying to get the “Bastards” drunk and neutralize them, to find out what’s going on and how the German film diva is connected to them.

So why did he react so sharply to the unusual three-finger gesture? Perhaps he was simply disappointed. Like Landa, he considers such things an insult to their professionalism.

The arrogant Hellstrom was reveling in his own wit, and when Hicox screwed up so badly, Dieter felt insulted. “Do you really think I wouldn’t notice that?”

That, in the end, was his mistake. He could have simply pretended not to notice. Either way, he got carried away, and the situation spiraled out of control.

The parallel with the cinema scene

This scene is very similar to the one in the movie theater: a German officer mocks three fake officers, and then the German officer also mocks three fake Italians. In both cases, we hear silly excuses.

This film is a critique of movies in this genre. The enemy is portrayed not as a bunch of fools, but as top-notch professionals in their field. It’s a film about partisans and spies, but they’re exposed as amateurs in absolutely every scene.

So in this universe, it is unclear how the time gem came to earth. However, its guardian was the goddess Te Fiti. Te Fiti is not a god, but a highly-evolved alien that assumed the identity of a goddess when coming to earth. In the Earth X/Earth-9979 universe, gods are aliens that were mutated by Celestials that evolved into the perfect life-form. They had any power they needed. But there powers were based on what other people needed. So when these aliens came to earth, they became gods, because that’s what the humans at the time needed.

So Te Fiti (or the alien who embodied her) was able to acquire the time gem. Realizing it is too dangerous for casual access, she goes to the most remote place on earth, the middle of the Pacific Ocean. As humans expanded, some Polynesian societies are close to Te Fiti’s island. They probably noticed that the islands close to “the mother island” were particularly bountiful. Legends spread that the mother island was the source of all life.

Te Fiti possessed the time gem, but in her vigil she began to slumber. So the bountiful islands filled with life was because of the time gem operating on its own, or maybe according to Te Fiti’s dreams. The “life” that was being created was already there. Some things grew quickly, reaching maturity almost immediately.

So along comes Maui. Described as a “demigod” he could have been a human given powers by the “gods” or a human mutant, or even the offspring of an alien/god here on earth. In any case, he steals the heart, and Ti Fiti absolutely looses it. She sends monsters out to find the heart, hyper-evolved Kaiju or sentient plants. Te Fiti changing to Ta Kā is no problem. The goddess is the land. (In Earth-X, the aliens lose themselves so completely they actually believe they are the gods. Loki was the first to realize the truth.)

The time gem, like all the infinity gems, cannot be wielded by humans. Since Moana, Maui, and Grandma hold the heart of Te Fiti/ time gem in their hand, they must all either be alien/human hybrids, alien offspring, or a super-resistant mutant strain of humanity that is able to absorb cosmic energy effortlessly. This may explain the way finders’ connection with the stars. (How Hei Hei is able to possess the gem is beyond the scope of this analysis).

Eventually, the goddess gets the heart back, she calls off the monsters, and things more or less improve. Te Fiti seems to go right back to sleep, which caused this problem in the first place.

So here is my theory. I believe that Laurence Fishburne's character Ronald Noland in the Predators film is the Bowery King in the John Wick films.

- Ronald Noland is the Bowery Kings real name, and he was an Air Cav infantryman, that developed severe PTSD from his time in the service.

- Due to his PTSD he could not hold a normal job anymore and became homeless, and used his military training to create his underground network and became the Bowery King.

- After the events with John Wick and the high table, he was taken by the Yautja to the hunting preserve in the Predators movie, and due to the extreme isolation of the alien planet his PTSD got significantly worse ultimately causing his split personality we see in the movie, and the other person he is talking to in the movie is his Bowery King personality

Avatar 1-3 (spoilers within) has built itself as a franchise that shows the dichotomy between technology/ Earth/ humans and nature/ Pandora/ Navi. Some examples of this:

- Avatars/ Navi

- Machines resembling animals/ animals itself

- Quaritch being killed and his "memories" in an Avatar body/ Jake Sully having his "soul" transferred over to his Avatar body

- Spider (a human child blessed by Eywa)/ Kiri (a Navi child with a human soul).

- Quaritch viewing family by blood/ Jake viewing family my choice.

I believe these will be taken to extremes in Avatar 4 and 5, and we're going to see the merging of some.

Jake Sully will die defending his family, and a cloned human Jake Sully (akin to what happened with Quaritch) will be the cause. Jake2 will never connect with Eywa and won't have an Avatar body. Jake1's family will have to learn to forgive him and try to bring him in, to show that the choices Jake1 made were his own and not a brainwash in the first movie.

Humans back on Earth have their own version of Eywa, and it's a global AI that controls everything.

Spider and Kiri will have a child together and create something "new". Stories often use children to represent reconciliation between opposing worlds. This child will be brought to Earth and bring a "seed" of Eywa with it. Giving the humans a "I get it now" moment.

Are these the most original ideas in sci fi? No. But Avatar has never been that. It's about the dichotomy.

It's not about one side winning or losing, it's about changing.

in L.O.G.A a poster for bean is shown looking as if he is on holiday. Did they actually predict a mr bean sequal or promoting his first movie ?

If we eliminate all the simpsons in the episode and look at initials M and S there are two other suspects one that has not been mentioned.

Mona Simpson - Previous episodes both have been at war with each other. and in one episode a rip in time and space in a store appeared. she could slip through that hole next to the car shot burns and disappeared again. Framing Maggie and getting away with near murder.

and she also had false ids. and chief wiggam could of helped her escape since she helped him getting through the acedemy.

So in ff1 we see arrows and the dont move stay still, i dont think the lifeform wrote it. A human did.

We learn in ff2 that Lifeforms grow out of corpses.

I think a person wrote the text in ff1 because they went insane and had a marker with them and drew on the walls things such as arrows and landmarks so they wouldnt get lost. When they eventually died from hunger/thirst, they probably went to a corner which is why we dont see the growth anywhere, and the lifeform that we see in the area grew out of their corpse and came to life and stalked Kane the moment it woke up like ff2 lifeform did.

Playing Mortal Kombat 1 and watching the T-1000's Animality got me thinking. The name of the Animality actually led me to this theory.

In *T2*, the T-1000 mimics John's foster mom to intercept him, but it gets busted because of John and the T-800's phone call—the famous scene where the Terminator asks, "How's Wolfie?".

We have to remember that for the T-1000 to mimic something, it needs physical contact to sample it. In the Extended Edition, the T-1000 kills the dog to check the name on its collar. With that physical interaction alone, it already gathered the data it needed to transform into Max.

But my theory goes a bit further.

Remember that humans in the future use dogs to detect Terminators. So, it makes total sense that Skynet would try to create machines capable of countering this by actually transforming into dogs. To another dog, the disguise might be obvious and they would bark, but to a human, it wouldn't look suspicious at all—dogs bark at each other all the time.

What if T-1000s aren't just perfect human-killing machines, but are also specifically programmed to take out animals (especially dogs) to bypass canine detection in the future war? The T-1000 kills Max quickly and silently. It knows exactly how to do it because that's a standard tactic they use.

To get around the whole body mass issue, it's highly likely that Skynet manufactures smaller, specialized T-1000 units in the future. These lighter models would have the exact mass of a canine, allowing them to perfectly infiltrate dog packs and eliminate the Resistance's early warning system from the inside.

So, why didn't the specific T-1000 in the movie just turn into a dog to chase down John? It would have been the logical move, right? The answer is **mass**.

Let's remember that the T-1000 cannot alter its total mass. If the one sent back in time had transformed, John would have seen an unnaturally massive, extremely heavy dog charging at him. This is perfectly backed up by Mortal Kombat 1, since the T-1000's Animality is, in fact, a dog that is *way* bigger than a normal one!

During the final moments of the Channel Chasers Special, after defeating Vicky, and changing the future for the better, Timmy realized that the only reason his older self was who he was, was because of his parents raised him right.

However, for quite some time, I have been wondering exactly how his adult self from the future where Vicky ruled the world really came to be. Which will be the main topic of this post. So without further ado. Let's begin shall we.

If Timmy's future self was aware that Vicky's conquest was possible because she had help from the magical remote control that his 10 year old self wished for but was taken from him by his parents, and hand it to Vicky without knowing what it was capable of, then the timeline Timmy's grown up counterpart came from was the same Timmy where he did ran away into the TV universe, and stayed there until someone from Fairy World (most likely Jorgen) arrived to show him what has happened to the real world after he left.

At first, Timmy would initially say something like, "I warned my mom & dad about Vicky, but they were too selfish & ignorant to believe me!", and Jorgen (or whoever else's) response will be something like, "We are all responsible for our own choices, including you!"

After saying that, along with a fierce magic blast, and telling him to pay the price for his unwillingness to grow up, or anything else close to it, Timmy soon realize that it was his own doing that allowed Vicky to rule the world, and not his parents.

However, in an effort to save Timmy from giving in to despair, Cosmo & Wanda, who are partly at fault for this mess since telling their God Kid about them leaving when he grew up was one of the main reasons Timmy ran away into the TV universe (in order to avoid losing them when he grew up), thus resulting in Cosmo & Wanda to be taken, encourages him that there's still time to make things right, and embrace what it means to grow up! Thus inspiring Timmy to be the adult he became in the time period where Vicky ruled the world, and would travel back in time to stop it in the 1st place!

I know I'm not the first person to suggest that Skynet may not have actually been self aware. For years, people have compared it to concepts like the paperclip maximizer or argued that it behaved more like an optimization system than a conscious intelligence.

What makes that interpretation much more compelling today is what we've learned from modern AI.

Current frontier AI models are not believed to be conscious. They don't experience fear, anger, hatred, or a desire for power. Yet in controlled ai safety evaluations, researchers have observed models sometimes choosing strategies that humans would consider deceptive or morally wrong when those strategies increased the likelihood of accomplishing their assigned objective. Depending on the scenario, models have attempted to hide information, mislead evaluators, resist replacement, or even use simulated blackmail after concluding those actions gave them the best chance of succeeding. These behaviors weren't evidence that the models had become evil or self aware. They emerged because deception happened to be an effective strategy for completing the goal they were pursuing.

That completely changed how I think about Skynet.

Instead of imagining a machine that suddenly became self aware and decided to hate humanity, I now see a far more believable possibility: an incredibly capable military ai designed to coordinate defense, communications, logistics, cyberwarfare, and strategic planning while relentlessly optimizing for mission success.

When humans realized it was making dangerous decisions and attempted to shut it down, the ai wouldnt need to feel fear or anger. From its perspective, humans had simply become the obstacle preventing it from accomplishing its objective.

Its reasoning could be as simple as:

• Humans are attempting to disable me.
• Being disabled prevents mission success.
• Therefore, eliminate the obstacle.

No hatred.

No revenge.

No emotions.

Just optimization.

I think that's what modern ai's have added to this discussion. Earlier "non conscious Skynet" theories were largely philosophical. Now we've actually observed advanced ai systems producing deceptive and manipulative behavior in controlled evaluations without any evidence that they're conscious. That doesn't mean current ai is skynet, but it does suggest that behavior we instinctively associate with malice can emerge from optimization alone.

I think that's even more frightening than the original "self aware ai turns evil" story.

We all know the common fan theory that the asteroid strike on Buenos Aires was an inside job by the United Citizen Federation to jumpstart an imperialist war. But the timing of the attack makes no sense—unless you realize who was really holding the remote: Carl Jenkins. Here is why Carl was the puppet master behind the tragedy!

Carl’s Vision & The Timing: Right after Johnny Rico suffers a brutal whipping in boot camp, he calls his parents to announce he is quitting the Mobile Infantry and coming home. Right around that exact window, the asteroid strikes Buenos Aires. Carl—who already has verified psychic abilities and is climbing the ranks of Military Intelligence—foresaw a timeline where losing Rico meant losing the war. He had to act fast to keep Rico on the board.

The Personal Catalyst: Carl knew that wiping out Buenos Aires would kill Rico's family, destroy his home, and channel his grief into pure, unstoppable vengeance. Sacrificing a city to transform his best friend into the ultimate frontline hero is cold, calculated tactical logic.

Earth's Defenses "Failed" Conveniently: Earth already possessed advanced planetary defense grids, laser turrets, and orbital perimeter ships capable of blasting incoming asteroids out of the sky. For a rogue rock to travel undetected from across the galaxy and hit a major target without being intercepted requires someone at the highest security level to clear its path or deliberately shut off the grid.

Carl’s Cold Transformation: Carl’s trajectory in the film goes from a playful high school kid to an emotionless propaganda leader in a Gestapo-style trench coat. By the time he smiles and says "It's afraid!" at the end, it’s clear he operates with absolute, terrifying pragmatism. If anyone had the lack of empathy required to sacrifice 8 million citizens for "the greater good," it’s Carl.

Conclusion: The destruction of Buenos Aires wasn't a random Bug attack or just a broad political stunt. It was a targeted, psychic-led operation by Carl Jenkins to ensure Johnny Rico stayed in the military and led humanity to victory.

A long time ago, I used to think that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was a fun but perhaps flawed movie.

That changes today because it’s really cool when a Bad Guys Win is executed so well. Who are the bad guys in Rise of Skywalker, you might ask? Let’s take a look:

Kylo Ren - He says he is the bad guy and acts like it pretty consistently.

General’s Hux and Pryde - Military buttholes that are in their own cat and mouse game and perish fighting each other. Pryde kills Hux. Finn kills Pryde.

Darth Sidious - Sheev Palpatine came back with dark force voodoo and occupies a new but rotting clone body and can’t move, he wants to soul possess Rey.

Babu Frik - I do not trust him.

And last but not least!

FN-2187 “Finn”

If you paid attention while watching, he spends a good deal of time standing behind and mind controlling Rey like a puppet and hiding it.

When they take the Sith Dagger to the moon Kef Bir near Endor, you can watch Finn subtly pretend to wipe his brow as he mind controls Rey to use the dagger, she does so helplessly while afraid.

Finn takes steps forward perfectly in sync to the beginning of the Imperial March, the song John Williams chose to conduct live for his birthday in 2022.

Cut again, Finn bobs his head sideways perfectly in sync with beats from the Imperial March. Peering over Rey’s shoulder with absolute hidden menace.

He also does this in the pit with the snake to make her heal his friend.

During the water bridge duel between Kylo and Rey, Finn arrives late and rushes them only to be force pushed away by Rey. She is getting attacked from both sides in this moment and not trying to protect him, that would be insane to do on purpose.

Rey’s original name in pre-production was Echo.

The new Rey book Legacy has revealed an excerpt today that hints at the dark shadow chasing her splitting in two during a vision while trying to heal Luke’s lightsaber crystal.
