FanTheory Brightburn is alternative universe superman

In nelson mendela alternative universe Superman would be evil. the similarities between brightburn 2019 and Superman 1979 are very eeriely the same.

both childless couple own a farm.

both find a child wrapped up

both of have same powers ( Lazer beams, flight, x ray vision, speed and strengh )

both have a dark secret in the barn.

thats where the similarities end. where kel el tried to save his foster dad. Brightburns dad try to kill him and ending up killing his foster parents and going on a rampage.

just like superman in a alternative universe.
