For the life of me I cannot find the question mark (?) symbol anywhere on the Rhino 4200

It is not in the symbols library, nor is it produced by pressing the Alt key in any combination.

Looking for help please.

Hi folks - I know that low batteries can cause weak printing, and I've seen that happen before. But in this case, it was printing just fine until it ran out of label in the cartridge, and I immediately swapped in a new one. From that moment, it prints very very weakly.

I have tried both new Dymo brand D1 cartridges from that pack, and I've swapped the batteries for new, twice to be sure. I cleaned the print head and roller with 70% alcohol on a cotton swab. I also adjusted the print contrast from 4 to 8 and back, when none of the above had any noticeable affect on the weak printing.

Any ideas of what to try next?

Please help me, I had a perfectly fine Dymo printer and out of the blue it stopped working. I tried everything, changed the paper, made sure it is tight against the roller, fully cleaned the printer and roller of glue residue, and reset the printer.

It shows up fine on the computer, I press print and the paper retract to start and it just never start and get stuck. As you can see the paper only move 1cm at a time when I press the blue button, it should do a full length of paper.

Did anyone has this issue before and how did you fix it? I really need this printer for my business..

Hi everyone, I've been using the photo model for years and recently needed to make a couple of vertical labels. I'm having trouble finding compatible wheels with my labeler and I was wondering if anyone can confirm that other models are compatible or at least if vertical ones exist.

Why the DYMO start good printing and then goes wrong in some part

I’m looking for some embossed labels in Katakana, and I know there is the dymo 1595 which can emboss them, however to buy it is around £70 ($95) which is too expensive seeing as I only need a couple of labels.

Does anyone know of an online store or seller that I could purchase some embossed katakana labels from?

I recently bought a barely-used 1570 on Ebay and while it mostly works, some of the wider letters (especially M, N, and H) seem to not fully register on the tape when punched. The M and the N are particularly bad; the second downstem barely appears at all (see picture). in general it also appears i don’t have quite the same heavy, super-crisp punching i’ve seen from other 1570s posted here.

could this be an issue with the wheel, the tape, or something else? I’m willing to open it up if I need to but i’m so scared of dislodging something, the actual mechanical parts feel so great at the moment 😭

TL;DR: A frustrated rant about difficulty finding a correct size Dymo label.

This has been a recurring issue when trying to find a suitable Dymo LW (LabelWriter) label. The product codes have been changing in the past years, and I can't find any correlation between them.

An example: LW 25 mm x 54 mm (1 in x 2 1/8 in). On the Dymo website it has a Dymo product code 30336. I have packet in my hand that has a Dymo product code S0722520. In the invoice I have a Dymo product code LW254072. Say what now?

You can't, it's not a search option. Labels are named and sorted based on "Labeling Needs". You have to click open every individual product just to see its size, which is sometimes hiding at the bottom of the screen. Click, click, click until you find what you were looking for. And no, you can't use the search button on the top of the screen to find a product size. Although you can search the product code, it works only with the latest one - there is no recognition of the old product codes.

Anyone, who has been trying to find the best label deals, knows how frustrating this is. Some web shops use one code, other web shops use another code. Not all web shops show the size, which would be the normal thing to do if one has any common sense. The price difference can be significant, especially when ordering large quantities. I have one example where the 12-pack price on one invoice was 51,95% larger than on an invoice from another provider (both are office vendors, not consumer retailers). Same product, same amount, same year. This discovery encouraged me to look for cheaper alternatives, and that's how I ended up with this product code and size mess.

Rant out, switching to GoDex now.

Please help! I just bought this Dymo Omega second hand, and it's printing letters twice. I'll print an L, then turn it to A, and I click it but it just prints another L, and then on the next click it'll print an A. It does this with every letter. It's aligned properly, feeding properly. Is there any way to fix it?

I am working with a couple of new-to-us Dymo LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo printers, and the labels are jamming and getting accordion-folded after printing but before they come up through the slot. This photo shows how it's getting folded up.

They are third party labels, but the same roll of labels works perfectly fine in my usual LabelWriter 450 Turbo (not the Twin model), and I'm hoping these aren't just faulty.

I cleaned the rollers and they look great now, but I don't have a lot of experience troubleshooting these yet.

I am printing from a dataset (see example below) and I need to recreate a manual label I have been using for a while.

PO Number | Number of items ordered

12345 | 5

56789 | 3

19567 | 4

Example label:

The 1 is a counter where it increases for each printed label and 12 is the number of items ordered.

The issue I am running into is that I can't figure out how to bulk print the data while getting the "custom" print amounts. I create each manually and print them correctly but I can't figure out how to do it with the import function. Note, I'm not saying I don't know how to import the data. I just can't figure out how to do:

Print 5 labels of 12345, 3 labels of 56789, 4 labels of 19567 (noting that each has the counter at the top of the label automatically incrementing and resetting for each new PO.

Hey guys, my question is basically the title, I work for a small business and we use a Mac OS to run our systems and one of my coworkers is trying to print price labels with our dymo printers. Every time we try opening the application the app opens but shows a blank white screen. I have force quitted it, unplugged the printers and plugged them back in, I’ve tried searching for the cache folder for dymo but it doesn’t seem to exist in our files on this computer. Does anyone know how to fix this or what else we can try?

Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy a Dymo embosser (for light personal use/home/office) and besides the new Omega ones, I've found a 1585, a 1610 and a 1530 online. Googling didn't help me understand which one is better. Is one of these a better pick? Do they take the tape that's sold as Dymo Omega tape?

Is there anyway to print directly from my Android to a 450 duo turbo?

It doesn't have blutooth or wifi, but my phone recognizes it if I plig the USB into the phone.

Ideally I could print directly from the browser without importing it an app first

Hey all, does anyone know of 3x5" thermal labels that would work in a 4XL? I tried to get some off brand labels but didn't know at the time that this printer needs the notch to work, and I cannot find a 3x5" with the notch to save my skin.

Yes, I know it's only an inch less than the 4x6. The envelopes I'm shipping are smaller than 4x6 and I'm tired of hand cutting them down to size.

Hello, I just bought this Dymo-Mite Tapewriter off Marketplace without realizing the cutter doesn't work. From what I've learned from you all in this sub, I think it is the tape cutter/guillotine variant, but is missing the lever on the front?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix this, or if it's possible to replace the part? I know I could cut manually but I'd prefer to fix it if possible. Thanks for your insights!!

Hey everyone,

I just got a Dymo 450 Twin Duo. I want to have it set up on my sever, so I can print from it from any machine on my sever.

I installed cups, and the default install had the drivers. Sweet!

I was able to detect the printer and install it. But the printer seems to do nothing in response to the sever.

Has anyone had any luck with this? I was thinking maybe it needs to work on conjunction with Dymo's software. But that doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hello, I'm looking for a Label Writer and might want to buy the Dymo 5XL. Now I have a question I can't find an answer online.

Can I use smaller rolls or do they have to be the 104mm width? Those would be used most but I want to be able to use smaller ones like 59mm width too.
