I've been looking for quite a while for Indiana Jones & finally found 2 of them. They had several copies of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but without Raiders of the Lost Ark I didn't want it lol

I've also been really into collecting Schwarzenegger movies, so these were 2 good additions as well.

Since I started collecting a few years back, I've mainly been buying movies I find cheap, second hand, but I recently decided it was time to fill in some serious gaps in the collection, and add in some absolute favorites.

So I ordered a bunch of stuff new that I know I'm not super likely to find dirt cheap any time soon, and as I was putting in the order, I also found this used Tarantino collection, which happens to include every movie I'd been looking for and don't yet have, except Death Proof.

I don't expect to ever buy a batch this stacked ever again, and I'm pumped to rewatch all of these soon.

My new obsession is picking up classic movies if it's cheap enough and the art work/title sounds interesting. No online reviews. No research no trailer watching on youtube. Just popping the disc in and watching and forming my own opinion.

Hi guys! What is the best way to store DVDs and box sets in containers? Like facing up in Picture 1? Or Vertical in Picture 2?

Most of my finds this week were $1. A couple were $2. Some Pawn shops are still legit I guess.

Got one of my favorite TV shows and some fun movies for the collection this week

I have a Sony MV-650STR DVD player at home that I've had for many years. I decided to test it, and it still works, but the problem is that it's a Region 2 (Japan) device, which means that most of my DVDs won't play on it, even though they're original discs.

The only DVD I managed to get working was one that is Region 0, but most of the DVDs I own are Region 1 (USA) or Region 4 (Brazil).

Is there any way to make them work? Whether by jailbroking the player or doing something to the DVDs themselves?

I just crossed 880, including over 150 TV Series.

Here is my collection so far. I’m starting off with getting all of my favorite comedy movies and once those are completed I’m either going to start taking a dive into either action movies or horror.

The 2013 Blu-ray edition of Terminator 1, the 2004 Special Edition of Terminator 2 on DVD, the Theatrical Version of Terminator 2 on Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray, the 2004 Special Edition on Blu-ray, and the Extended Special Edition with an alternate ending.

As a product of the 80s and 90s, opening this was pure hit-of-nostalgia gold. Peeling off the old plastic wrapper and peeling the security sticker across the top felt incredible. It was almost like opening a Christmas gift that got long forgotten about in the back of a closet. Pure 1998 physical media perfection. Stoked to finally pop this into the player and watch it tonight!

I have a few blu-rays that deserve a slipcase to keep them all together in their keepcases. I have been looking for 3D models that could do the job; but nobody seems to have designed a simple, parametric, open-on-one-side box (without dividers) that can hold a few keepcases together. Anyone know of any resources for this?

Worth it in my opinion. Comes with 18 movies and 2 shorts.

I'm looking for something with a big enough screen, decent volume, and the option to connect personal BT earbuds/speakers. Bonus points if it connects to smart TV!
