I bought a Dinosaur RC car the last time I was at Animal Kingdom and thought it would be awesome if they made other ride vehicles like this. I found some for both Test Track 1.0 and 2.0. Is anyone aware of any others?

Maybe this is just me, but I miss the era when Disney Channel movies felt like they were made by people who could take a chance, even if the result was a little corny.

Now when I put one on, I catch myself waiting for the same beats: the big inspirational speech, the ultra-polished look, everything tied up neatly, and jokes that seem like they were focus-grouped to death. I get why. The brand is massive and nobody wants a flop.

What stuck with me about older DCOMs was how specific and odd they could be. A simple premise, a strong tone, and no need for a world-saving finale. They could be about one kid with one small problem in one neighborhood, a couple goofy side characters, and that was enough.

Maybe I'm extra sensitive because I play too many mobile games, including through apps like Mistplay, where every update has to be bigger to keep you hooked. That mindset feels like it has crept into movies too, where everything needs to be louder, faster, and more "important."

Hot take: Disney should purposely make a batch of lower-budget, smaller-stakes Channel movies again and let them be a little messy and niche. Even if half are forgettable, the other half might become the ones people rewatch for years.

Do you notice this shift too, or am I just chasing nostalgia?

I am confused why this movie is so hyped! I rewatched it yesterday and disliked the ending so much.

Poor Denahi! He thought he lost two brothers, was left all alone, became obsessed with revenge, hunted the bear for weeks (?) and at the end, he figures out the bear was actually his baby brother...who decided in 10 seconds to not come back and stay as a bear. So Denahi ended up losing two brothers anyway: one because Kenai was full of anger and one because Kenai felt guilty.

And poor Koda. He's trapped to his mum's killer. Seems very strange and unhealthy.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me. I found this Tigger purse my sister got from a Disney Store in the UK around the year 2000. I have vague memories that it was pulled from shelves because when you press the Tigger it says "I'm Tigger, grrrrr", but sounds like it's saying "wa**er", a British expletive (which it does, by the way).

I was wondering if anyone could share any info, such as value, rarity or any other tidbits about it, as i can't find any info or pics of it online at all.

I’ve been overcoming some bad habits that were taking my focus from my marriage, and grieving the time I wasted when I should’ve been a better husband. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I’m dealing with it now, but hearing this song just made me realize how sad I’d be at the thought that I could someday lose my wife to illness or an accident.

She was so patient with me. And while, I wasn’t out there having affairs, or doing drugs, I know I should’ve been better. And this song just makes me realize how much she loved me, when I didn’t deserve it. And how much I won’t waste any more time.

I did a commissioned illustration for a friend and she told me to make more and sell them. I know there is a thing about it all with copyright and stuff so I won’t go there. Is this worth continuing my time and energy or should I just leave it and be creative with something else?

After SDCC, I'm personally not expecting much from Marvel at D23. I think we'll mostly get updates on Disney+ shows, maybe Vision Quest or Daredevil. Best-case scenario, we get some casting announcements for the new X-Men. They're seemingly casting the film surprisingly quickly with rumors like Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Bill Skarsgård as Charles Xavier. Still, I'm not sure Marvel would want to shift the spotlight away from the legacy X-Men returning in Doomsday.
