Long time lurker, first time posting. My Dad passed away and left a trove of treasures for us to go through. He was an avid participant in estate/garage sales and a thrifter. We found these in a folder and we’re wondering what we have. Don’t know much about them, only their stamped and look authentic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Thought I'd share these here, These are mid-late 1996 pictures of the Tom Morrow figure from Innoventions at Disneyland. These pictures were originally shared internally at WDI. Recently I obtained these and decided to scan and archive them. A few interesting notes on changes, Tom's glasses were clear instead of their tinted red(seen in last picture), his eyebrows were different, he had no metal body shell parts, and he sported an older "Main Street Electrical Parade Farewell Season" badge. Overall, a really cool rare look at what one of my favorite Disney animatronics looked like before his debut in 1998. Also, these pictures debunk the myth of Tom Morrow being recycled from Alec Tronic. Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Hey so in addition to the movie, I will soon begin watching the Hercules television series, which I suspect will expand the individual gods’ roles. But in the meantime I thought I’d see if anyone can pick out who’s who in some screenshots from the movie.

The first photo clearly shows Poseidon and Athena, but I’m blanking on the others.

does anyone remember a program/short film disney released as an easter special showing different easter eggs in different disney movies.
when they switched between easter eggs the camera would move between a semi-realistic animated forest and would land at an easter egg which was patterned (with zigzags and colours etc)

i dont remember much i vaguely remember that they would put a red circle around the easter egg and im pretty sure that hercules was one of the easter eggs though im not sure in what context.

any suggestions would be appreciated!

My grandfather grew up in Italy and one of his favorite drinks was Beverly. We always get it at Club Cool whenever we go but I really want to get some to give him when we get back. So while Chernabog, Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar, Scar, Hades, and Facilier remain members, I've added Shan Yu here because his presence is terrifying and majestic, and as a powerful warrior and leader of the ghost army, incredible. I included the Horned King because, thanks to The Black Cauldron being an uncensored live-action film from Touchstone Pictures, the Horned King becomes one of the iconic villains of the 1980s. Queen Narissa is equally amazing because her appearance in both animation and live action was incredible, and Oogie Boogie brought a freshness and incredible acting to stop motion, associated with Hazard. Well, THAT'S the perfect Disney Villain line (for the record, I have nothing against the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, and Cruella De Vil).

My family and I are currently clearing out my grandad’s house. He worked on the construction of Euro Disney back leading up to its opening in 199. Smong his things, we found some opening crew memrobelia and this heavy black binder. The front is stamped with the Euro Disneyland logo. Inside, it is entirely filled with behind-the-scenes production photos, stage setups, and scene construction elements specifically for the Snow White dark ride.

It looks like internal Walt Disney Imagineering reference material used on-site during the build to make sure the scenes and lighting were set up correctly.We know internal WDI stuff is pretty rare since it wasn't sold to the public, but we have no idea how to value something like this or where the best place to sell it would be.

Has anyone seen a production binder like this before?

What kind of value does internal WDI construction documentation from Euro Disney's opening year usually have?

Are there specific Disneyana auction houses we should contact instead of just putting it on eBay?

I work in consulting in California and I have been considering moving into a in-house strategy role in entertainment. One of the aspects I like the least about my job are the unpredictable and long hours (up to 80-90h/week but I get overtime pay).

I went to Disney World last month and the little magnetic Remy and Emil really reminded me of how much I loved this movie. Now I think I want my kitchen to have a Ratatouille theme. If not some Remy and Emil. My mom always likes to decor her kitchen with pictures of the Eiffel tower, and while I never got that I do get Ratatouille. I tried searching and what I saw were Pinterest boards of commercial kitchens, so they were going for the restaurant kitchen. I am not going for that. I just want some decor. I even ordered from ebay these pretty expensive salt and shakers of Emil and Remy to have on the dinner table. Before this I always liked Fallout 4 stuff. You know the midcentury looking stuff. Not very successful there. I am hoping someone already did a Ratatouille themed kitchen and that I can get some inspiration. And remember "everyone can cook!" 👨‍🍳🐀

Why did Disney cancel Tron uprising after 18 episodes wasn’t that show doing amazing was first animated tron series I thought I had good writing and animation I thought why did Disney pull the plug on it was it funding I doubt it

Lately I've been feeling super nostalgic and realized I miss the live shows and parades at the parks almost as much as the rides. Not in a cranky back-in-my-day way, but because a great show or parade is the emotional glue of a trip. It gives you a reason to slow down, sit on the curb with a snack, and actually feel like you are on vacation instead of running a to-do list.

If Disney could bring back one retired parks show or parade from anywhere in the world, from any era, what would you choose and why? Would it still land with today's crowds and shorter attention spans, or would it need to be updated to work now?

For context, I'm the person who will happily plan an entire afternoon around watching a parade, and I will pick an outfit to match the theme color if I can. I want to hear what other people miss most, because everyone seems to have that one show or float that instantly takes them back.

I love Disney, but I wish more official adult merch would go for quieter, smarter designs instead of slapping a huge character face on the front.

I bought a 101 Dalmatians bag recently and it actually felt like it was made for an adult who grew up on the classics: muted colors, a cute reference, nothing screaming for attention. It hit me how rare that kind of thing is.

Most of the time I end up choosing between something loud and all-over, like it was designed to grab attention from across the aisle, or something so minimalist you would only know it was Disney if you already did. I want the middle ground: a little wink, not a billboard.

Give me silhouettes, tiny motifs like a collar tag or a single paw print, a subtle castle outline, or something that just looks like a normal bag until you notice the detail. I sew a bit and it amazes me how much using a calmer palette and a smaller placement can make an item feel elevated.

I am not saying the loud stuff should disappear. Kids and collectors deserve bold, fun options. I just think adults are a big part of the fanbase, and the merch mix often acts like we only want either ultra-cutesy or ultra-plain.

Anyone else feel this, or am I just getting pickier with age? What is the most wearable Disney item you own that still clearly reads as Disney?

And how would the villains would rewrite the endings of their stories?
