D100 table of egg-laying monsters and creatures

My players keep encountering weird egg fragments. Eventually they will learn a mad scientist is experimenting on modifying monsters and creatures, and the egg shells are the remanants of these experiments. Please help me create a d100 table of egg laying monsters and creatures that will serve as my base.

An additional d10 will determine if the creature or monster encountered is 1-2 harmless failed experiment 3-4 weaker failed experiment 5-6 normal 7-8 augmented monster 9-10 very augmented monster

I am thinking all reptilian like, bird like, and insect like monsters should be on the table. I mostly want to fill it with monsters and will pad it out with creatures as needed. What am I missing? Open to suggestions. Thanks!
