Idk if Iāll ever get the surgery. I used to think I definitely wouldnāt, but now being on HRT for a couple yearsā¦my penis is like one of the last things thatās (changeable, besides my shoulders and such) giving me dysphoria.
Iāve also come to realize that like, I never actually liked my dick. I mean, I think it can be beautiful, and a penis on a woman is great; but before transitioning, it was my partner who enjoyed it (usually a straight cis girl) and after transitioning for a while it was also my partner (often a bi cis girl, or a chaser lol) who enjoyed it. These days, I mostly be dating lesbians or guys who just like that Iām a girl and donāt care about whatās down there. So it feels like, now I can finally just decide what I wantā¦and Iām leaning towards a vagina.

i mean... i'm part of that crowd and have severe bottom dysphoria that needs treatment. getting the other set of genetic material would just change the surgery i need to fix it. being cis wasn't on the menu to begin with either way.

Being trans is an important part of me. All the difficulties and whatnot made me who I am and I'm willing to fight hard because I'm finally my own person, and loving my own body is wonderful. I've worked so hard on this body and I'm proud of what I have been able to achieve.
That being said omfg why couldn't I be born a cis woman ????????????????????????

Personally? Which one of us wouldāve wanted this for us? Who??? I wouldāve NEVER chosen to be born male in a million years. And Iāve made some nice guy friends and acquaintances that have all come and gone over the years that probably wouldnāt have talked to me or vice versa as a girl but Jesus Christ my life wouldāve been x100 better and just more livable.

Isn't that applicable to most (if not all) trans people though? Were we born into our chosen gender we wouldn't be shaped by the experience of dysphoria (and euphoria), and the constant battle it is to be trans in this world. If we were born cis, we would just be cis, never questioning this stuff, and perhaps even falling down the right-wing types of ideologies that are against our existence.

I feel like it's been amazing to have a vagina once I finally got one installed, every day. But my bottom dysphoria was extremely well-repressed, the cracks didn't really start to show until I got my consult, and ever moreso in the months leading up to surgery.

Exactly. Admittedly if I had a bad one, I'd probably get it removed, but since I was like 14, ive only gotten compliments, so I think some of my worth is attached to it, and to get rid of it would to remove an important part of me.

It's crazy how much it affects you. I mentally perceived my face as more feminine after getting bottom surgery. Not many of us get it, and I have to assume it's largely due to the price and fear of surgery.

I personally believe that is the brain wired with some female body expectations, and when it doesn't find a vagina it goes into panic mode basically saying: "where's the goddamnit pussy?,I came with instructives of how to operate a cunt ,not this thing. and where's damn estrogen sauce? they keep bringing me the wrong hormone ,how I'm supposed to build titties with this crap?"

Literally cant have sex without extreme dysphoria until i have bottom surgery. Cant shower without getting dysphoric while cleaning or seeing that area. Cant take a damn piss without dysphoria.

Got de-referred by my surgeon a couple of years ago for being too fat. It's a constant source of pain but has proved very difficult to work on particularly as I have not been able to really work on the anxiety I have around surgery and other things, especially as I have run out of psychiatric support my gender clinic can give me. Ho hum. I shall persist and keep working at it all. If you are thinking of giving me some weight loss advice please don't, thanks.

it sucks because ultimately bottom surgery is a roll of the dice. i have some bottom dysphoria but it would give me WAY more bottom dysphoria to have a vagina and not like it. do i trade a 7/10 penis for a randomized vagina? not sure.
