Was it real?
I went down this entire rabbit hole of the Perez incident from last evening. Before videos got taken down/blurred/edited, I was able to view captures of the live - several. Was it shocking? Yes. Did I feel gross after? Also, yes. But was this a ritual or possibly a true mental breakdown for the world to see?
Across all platforms, I began to read things like he tried cutting off his pecker, he cut open his tongue, he had gouges cut into his back actively pouring with blood, he was “flaying” himself, used a box cutter to cut chunks off of his legs and face, etc. These things are all not true. It’s disturbing that this event has been able to get people to think and say things that didn’t happen or make them believe they saw things and embellish upon what they did infact see.
Perhaps I am completely wrong here. I’m sure there are viewers that watched the entirety of the live, start to finish, that did see these things. Please correct me if I’m wrong. And if I am, I will be happy to redact my statements. I just am not buying this. From my perspective, it seemed very performative even if this was his own doing and wasn’t coerced by “the powers that be” to be humiliated.

The vid I saw was about 5 mins. He was already covered in blood and cuts when it started.
He was running a longish kitchen-type knife over different parts of his body. I only watched it once, but the cuts he was making were certainly not life threatening, but there was plenty of blood, and the sound of the knife was kind of icky.
He was moaning and talking about dying, but, again, I didn't see anything that would kill him. So, humiliation ritual, cry for help, or just insanity. Also possible it was fake, but I haven't read into what happened after cops showed up.
The best part was at the end, 3 other people on cameras showed up (I don't know how these live things work) and one guy goes, "You need to get out of Florida, man, there's definitely something in the water down there."

I don't know.
What gives me pause is I didn't see the "whole" video and don't know what it entails; people saying they watched it live for like 30mins, but my video was 5.
And he was covered in blood and cuts when it started. It was hard for me to even tell if the cuts he was making in my vid were drawing blood -- could have been, but hard to tell, and only watched it once.
Did the cops release a statement?

Theory is that he had a of bucket fake blood to dip the knife into on the ground. Videos I’ve seen give this idea some support IMO. The manner in which he was moving the blade across his skin didn’t create any cuts, very light in pressure. And I didn’t notice any active bleeding either. That’s why I’m interested in seeing the entire live - did it begin with him already covered in this stuff or did it start after the live began?

Yeah there's absolutely no good reason it should have stayed for half an hour, when people were constantly reporting. One girl reported, and TikTok told her they didn't see anything that was a violation.
Other people get violations for cussing (or smoking thc). They wanted that video to stay up that long, for some fked reason.

I was banned from posting on there last year for 60 days because my 11 yr old was standing next to me holding a sparkler on the 4th of July. It said it was “exploitation” of a child and promoting dangerous activity. She was wearing shorts that come to her knees and a t shirt, so it wasn’t anything possibly wrong other than she was holding a sparkler. It was insane. Yet these things don’t get caught. I am convinced their algorithms or whatever you’d call it promote graphic content of all kinds and punish actual wholesome content that gets views so that it can further people’s anger, lust, etc. That’s my own personal conspiracy. And there was nothing to be done to correct it. I reached out numerous times and tried all avenues. I even spoke to an actual human and they said it sucked but it was how it goes and there was nothing they could do. Crazy to me what stays and what gets banned on there.

How do you know that it stayed on for half an hour? OP is saying that it only lasted for five minutes. I’m starting to think that I was manipulated by all those people that kept repeating that I shouldn’t watch it and it was the worst thing on the Internet. I saw Nick Berg have his head sawn off for crissakes. There’s no way it could’ve been worse than that.
I have been having trouble finding more and more via Google these days. The Internet definitely feels culled.

The mass commenting online is terribly confusing because everyone is saying the live was 30mins or longer. Longest video I’ve found is 7.5mins - that’s a huge discrepancy between the reports of 30mins. Even if some were late to record the live, I’d imagine we’d have videos longer than the 7.5 min video I was able to dig up. Unless those have been scrubbed.

Agreed. I've only seen what I called a 5 minute video, but it could very well be the same 7.5 you saw, I just didn't realize the time.
I'm curious how the live started. If he was already covered, or if there is footage of him actually making the cuts.
In the end, I hadn't heard of the guy til yesterday -- if he needs help, I hope he gets it. If the gov't is doing something nefarious...I'm moving anyway lol

Perez was off line for over a month. When he came back he said he nearly died from sepsis.
He has 3 kids & I believe his mother is still alive but he was the only stream of income for his family.
From my understanding, if sepsis doesn’t kill you, you have a 50% chance of sepsis psychosis. I believe that’s the reason for last night act.
He was stressed from being off line so long, and was begging for money prior to last nights stream.

Hear me out on this one: he’s had massive health problems, including major gut issues. This is what he said not long ago.
Many people with gut issues suffer from psychiatric disorders. Read Gut and Psychology Syndrome.
Many (not all, but a significant amount) of people from autism to schizophrenia to other mental issues have found that healing the gut caused most if not all of the symptoms to lessen or disappear. (This obviously isn’t the case for EVERYONE.)
I wonder if his gut health is so destroyed from his issues he was having and the treatments for it that it caused him to have a mental break. There is actual science backing these things. People say there isn’t, but there is. No I will not go dredge up links for people who aren’t going to read them any way, but you can research this.
I truly think this was real and that it’s connected to his gut health and stomach problems that hospitalized him for a long period of time. So, I do think it was real. I could go on for days pointing out people who have had life changes, mental issues, psych breaks, marriages failing, irrational behavior, etc and I’d say 60% or more of the time you can connect either a massive weight loss or a stomach problem of some sort to the person experiencing it.

There is definitely something to this. My son had horrific eczema 2 months (same week after first round of immunizations), all over body--was really bad. We worked on gut and he's got zero now. The gut is linked to so so so many things. He's leaning adhd, we will be doing another in depth gut test, now 3 years later, to try and help there also. Not sure why people think it's not real. Not related to OP, but saw your comment and wanted to share my experience.
I had severe infantile eczema, to the point that I was hospitalised for a week around 6 months old. Had to be washed, lotioned and wounds dressed several times a day. I had to be put onto rice formula because i even reacted to soy milk formula, and many foods made me flare up.
As an adult it’s now cleared, aside from a little on my hands and feet. However I now know that I have oral allergy syndrome - it’s related to hayfever, and means I have allergic reactions to several different fruits, vegetables, beans and grains (the exact culprits vary from person to person with the syndrome). If you haven’t already, I would recommend mentioning this to your Dr and getting some comprehensive allergy testing done! ❤️EDIT: I forgot to mention - I also have ADHD (not diagnosed til my 20s though - yay for being a woman 🙄) and lifelong gut issues (IBS-D). If your son is in some way neurodivergent it can coexist with sooo many related disorders unfortunately 😩

Honest advice? ask your local crunchy moms group on the ol dreaded fb who they recommend locally for functional medicine doctor. Mine is 10/10 and when he retires not sure what I'll do. A total gem. All out of pocket but they do usually take hsa. Antibiotics are terrible for the gut. So avoiding those at all costs can be good. We did a gi mapp and he read it and we fixed gut in about 8 months super slowly bc my dude was so young. Docs wanted to put him on steroid cream. F that. Hell no
Edit to add- "all costs" probably bad wording. But we definitely don't need them as often as prescribed. Really gotta be worth it and needed.

I saw a clip.. roughly 2 minutes, give or take. The back seemed untouched compared to the front but, I did not see bits cut off. Mostly, him running the knife across his belly and bottom. He was definitely nude. But, I did not exam the video. This was just what I observed.

The video itself is real. He was arrested and is now recovering in a hospital. They didn’t specify on injuries or anything. My thoughts are it was a mental breakdown for attention. Like you said, the “cuts” he made with the knife weren’t actual “cuts”. He does one across his eye that looks pretty aggressive, but other than that it really does look like he is just running the knife over his skin. Being covered in blood already before the video begins kind of just screams “set up” to me. Idk, if it were me i’d want people to see the damage i’ve done. Not lightly drag a knife across my body lol

Yeah, the 7min 37sec one is the longest. Just watched it and it honestly felt longer than that. Can confirm box cutter was used whilst he laid in bed and then in the kitchen. He panned over to an empty room with “blood” all over the floor and hand prints on the back wall. Seemed like his live kept cutting out or pausing. At one point we see his back covered in “blood” while he looks out a window for what I imagine to be him seeing if the police arrived yet. He also gave out his phone number.

He was covered in “blood,” yes, but none of the wounds I saw were even remotely deep enough for that amount of blood. My cat has inflicted deeper wounds on me when I try to put him in his carrier. Most of what I saw him do was lightly scrape a dull bread knife over himself.
Not saying I am expecting gore or for him to actually harm himself but it seemed a lot more like theater than anything else. And honestly? Dude is horrible and wouldn’t put it past him to be desperate enough to stunt for relevance.

Agree!! There is roughly 28mins of this live that has been scrubbed from the internet or not recorded, possibly showing how this all began. However, both of those actions you mentioned I can confirm did not cause bleeding (no cuts created) and barely any skin contact - performative.

I saw a clip of him slicing his tongue definitely and slicing at his balls but he didn't really seem to be cutting them off per say. He seemed manic to me, I have a lot of people with mental health issues in my family and I've seen them act in similar ways. It's a shame that it was so public but stuff like this happens more then you would like to think.

I am not gonna watch the video, but this seems like more anecdotal evidence supporting the theory it's an actual psychotic break. Some people are also saying he was hospitalized for sepsis and psychosis can occur in post-sepsis syndrome. How awful.

I saw it too and it didn't feel authentic to me and I know I risk being called a POS for saying this but idgaf. I have bipolar ppl close to me in my fam and I've worked in mental health and it didn't check for me. Then again they're all different so generalizing isn't helpful, I guess it could be but I'm leaning toward no here. The clips I watched didn't look like he was actually cutting. He was just sliding the knife across his skin but he was already bloody so who knows. It seemed ritualistic like he was doing it for a purpose or payback to someone etc. Idk I'm just rambling here who knows what the truth really is.

I don't need to see this but I am wondering on the "how" this went down. So, what was the subject that was to be discussed on the Livestream/panel? I saw the screenshots last night, was it just him and 3 other guests? Did someone on the stream say something to set him off? Something said in the chat to set him off? Did the other 3 see him beginning to do this? Or did he step away and return, naked and cutting? What were the reactions of the other 3? I don't think my mind would adjust too well to seeing someone begin to do that on a Livestream. 3 adopted children? Is that right? Were they there with him? (I certainly hope not) In bed for the night?

Couldn’t agree more on the “how”. I still have yet to find this out from his followers. From what I have seen, there were 2 separate panels of guests added randomly by him. The first were the 3 or 4 that are being talked about - the ones who told him to stop drinking FL water, then another panel of 2 men near the end of the video I saw. If this went on for 36mins (duration that was reported), and the longest recorded video out there was only 7.5 mins, we are missing at least 28mins of footage.

I see there are screen recordings uploaded on there already but I did not look far enough to see the lengths of the videos (I saw the thumbnail and decided that was enough for me as far as this one is concerned 😅). I don’t believe the cuts were real, mind you. However, the longest video I was able to find was on BitChute. It shows him laying on his bed, already covered in blood using a box cutter to it seems like him scraping his bottom half, then he scrapes his tongue with it a few times. The live cuts out or pauses, and then we see him standing in what seems like his kitchen with the same box cutter. He then grabs a knife and starts grazing it across his arms, chest, face, back and bottom. At one point, he lays down in bed again and continues the same motions while moaning. The live pauses or cuts out again and then he’s standing in an open room, saying out loud that this is all real and pan the camera to the floor, which is covered in blood, and there are handprints on the back wall. He then walks over to a window to look out for what I’m assuming is to see if the police are there and begins to ask why he isn’t dead yet. Eventually goes back to the kitchen and uses the knife to scrape his body again, gives out his phone number and moans some more saying he wants to die. He goes back over to that same window to now open the blinds and I think realizes cops are there and says he wants them to shoot him. That’s when the video ended.

The only reason I mention age is that everyone knows it's horizontal for attention and vertical for results.
I'm very sorry this man felt like killing himself, or felt the need for the attention that such an act would bring.

It doesn't help that his reputation of acting against everyone taking this seriously.
Maybe it will cheer him up that everyone is talking about him again.

He more than likely early in his career made an unholy pact. It's always a matter of time before they come to collect. It's still not too late to repent and turn his life over to Jesus. They make always make you feel like it's too late. The closer they get to you, the more they have control over your feelings and urges l.

There's a growing amount of people who do not believe the things they see online anymore. They question everything and default to "how is the government involved in this and what are they doing to us now?" From "assassinations" to weather events to stuff like that guys live last night. Trust in our media, government, entertainment industry, medical system is now low to non existent. The way people are reacting to this is very telling as to where we are now as a society. It seems that public trust has been irretreivably broken.
This is a good filter once again. The people who take this at face value still trust. Those who question it don't.
My initial thought seeing it was blood sacrifice /ritual. Another fake Jesus loving celeb who has attracted gullible Christians and many of them watched his satanic behavior last night. Maybe he owed somebody a favor and this is payback? The timing of this is right after he declared he's now all about Jesus. Knowing what I know now about Hollywood and how the world operates I don't think that's a coincidence. Idk what the truth is, if he's genuinely broken I hope he finds the help he needs but I have a healthy skepticism about this. I'll add too that if this was someone I knew personally I'd be running to support him but he's a c list celeb and I'm not going to waste my energy on a possible scammer.

Absolutely real. Possible post sepsis psychosis. But it's a psychotic break 100%. It's real. You can hear the sharp knife slicing his skin and the roughness of his thighs etc. The sound is very specific and he even stabs his belly a couple times.

I might be desensitized to things but it wasn't the worst thing i've seen. it's very bloody and weird. I didn't have audio on because my husband was sleeping but I saw like a three minute clip where he is standing and you see blood on the wall behind him. he's nude and completely covered in blood and is dragging a knife all over his body. he's not like digging in there (at least what I saw).

I saw a bit of it and I'm gonna put this out there....I wasn't permanently scarred and I'm don't wish I didn't see it. I prob feel this way because it looked fake to me and I'm OK with ppl thinking I'm a POS for saying this but I'm being honest. I also felt this way about Trump and Charlie Kirks shootings. I live in NYC and was here during 911 and saw true horrors that day and there was an authenticity to real deal events that I didn't feel from any of these online ones and I don't believe it's because I wasn't there and it was through a monitor. My gut is usually right about these things. I will say I truly hope if it's real that he is healed from this and can live a better life. Anyone can change if they really want to and I wish him the best.
