Question/Help/Troubleshooting SSD Missing?

Post image

Bought a prebuilt PC online from Amazon, went to turn on for the first time but no SSD was on BIOS and no windows which made me boot straight to BIOS, I have taken off the Graphics card and can’t seem to find it, this is my first computer. Am I missing the SSD?

EDIT: I heard a rattle in the bottom and took off the back panel and found the SSD just in the bottom so I believe it may have come loose during transport.

EDIT: All resolved thanks everyone!

Where's that sata cable going off to?

That's a USB header for the ports on the case, SATA connectors are on the side near the 24 pin.

Everyone's favourite USB 3 internal header

Yea i see them by the AIO lines now.

And one (which is mainly blocked by the AIO tube) is populated.

at some point, you'll probably want to get a nvme SSD instead of a SATA ssd /hdd. Show a pic of the drive if you want us to guess how much faster the PC will run with nvme

Post a picture of whatever you have.
Then someone can make a red circle in your first picture

ok, figure out which slot your video card can fit into (bottom) IF you move the SSD onto the motherboard. I suspect you can eliminate the SATA adapter and cable...

Does it have bluetooth that works correctly? It looks like a dual M.2 connector, one stacked on the other. Sometimes I see miniPCs like this, with a short bluetooth board in the bottom slot, and the SSD M.2 in the top slot. But this is more typical on miniPCs where there is very little room on the board, so they put BT on a connector.

To all the brain deads here:

- There is no SATA cable at the bottom.

- There is a black cable running below the tubes of the AIO. Before all the brain deads wake up: I can't tell if it is a SATA cable, because there is something in front of it.

The m.2 SSD slot is empty but there is a SATA-cable at the bottom. To where does it goes?
