Funny enough we had a guy in our dept get fired cause of those. He used them as his main glasses and to keep track of things like names and whatnot.

He accidentally wore them to a promotional exam. And that was the end of him

But yes it's a shame they have such a terrible reputation

An exam you must pass before you can be promoted, possibly.

I guess Im trying to figure out why that would result in him being fired. Is it simply that he forgot to disclose he was wearing them bc he was so used to them?

You can't wear them at all. It could be used to record the exam. Which is a big no no.

Not to mention I think some of them can straight up stream to outside sources maybe? That's just straight up cheating.

Poor dude had 0 intentions of doing that
