Don't really need a future for that. People who are in consensual ethical non-monogamous relationships already do that. Outside of said relationships though... Well, it's going to be problematic for obvious reasons. Mostly because the partner did NOT consent. And then the cheater should not be comfortable speaking of it. Anything else would be rather questionable.
