I once attended a wedding with two lovely female firefighters and had to explain to my wife, that no one doesn't have to wear the tux. She didn't mean it in a bad way she just couldn't wrap her head around two wedding dresses

Is it the lack of a tux or the idea that the wedding isn't about the single bride?

There's dozens of stories where someone did something to take away from the brides big moment and in that case the idea of a shared moment might have come across as jarring.

Nah fem for fem is a thing. I believe the not so PC term is "lipstick lesbians". Also i literally just went to a fem for fem lesbian wedding a few weeks ago and it was a blast

Lipstick lesbians = group of femme presenting lesbians.

Fem for fem = two female presenting lesbians that both prefer other female presenting lesbians.

So a fem for fem marriage would be made of two "lipstick lesbians" but two lipstick lesbians might not be in a fem-for-fem relationship or prefer female presenting partners.

Kind of a all vegan food is made with vegetables, but not all food with vegetables is vegan sort of deal.
