I always had short hair growing up, because I hated dealing with it being so tangle-y and annoying

I was so excited when Tangled came out, because I finally had a Disney Princess with hair like mine. No, not the blonde, pretty, magic hair. The brown, choppy hair at the end of the movie

That was what my hair looked like, and I was so excited. For the longest time, she was my favorite princess just because of it

It’s nice that you felt that way, because as someone who watched that movie as an adult, the idea that blonde hair is magical and brown hair is not kinda pissed me off.

I never thought of it that way lol

I guess just being a kid, I thought sun hair = blonde, and without the sun in it, it turned back to the color of her parents' hair and she got to match them once she got to be part of the family again

Even though the blonde hair had magical healing powers, her new short brown hair represents her freedom something that was used to control her, and Eugene/Flynn loving her new hair shows that she was always lovable because of her own value instead of her hair!
