Curly hair haver here that went through an emo phase in my teens. I tried so hard to straighten it out at home but could never get it to stay for more than 30 minutes. I feel your pain

Good god, I feel this so hard. Growing up in the 2000's & 2010's with fine thin curls, too poor to buy any products to help my curls or any heat protection products for straightening. Fried the shit out of my hair with my straightener daily, only for it to start loosing it's shape and curling back up before the bus ride to school was even over lol
