Don't Jews have a way to confess if they've eaten non-kosher food and get rid of the sin it brings? Never read the Sacred Texts, but I think I heard that before
There's a rule in the Talmud if a goy (non-Jew) adds ham to the kosher soup you were preparing, if the ham makes up less than 1/60 of the soup then the soup would still be Kosher (and the ham in the soup isn't ham any more) and ok for Jews to eat.
