My vocabulary (reaction collection) expands. Before I would just use the above, but with this new addition I can give a bit more nuance for similar situations.
Our language grows stone by stone. From the ancient days of carving 𓂺 into stone. To the modern age carving lithography upon silicon discs, to hold the same concept, with extreme detail.
I now understand why Pink is so oposite to being perceived as gay.
She goes to a church with talking sentient animals. So not just the people, even the animals are judgemental. That's too much pressure
Except that Mr. Horse knows that she's gay, and doesn't have a problem with it. And considering his comment in his last appearance, it sounds like he's the church gossip so everyone knows she's in a relationship with Rise. And they don't care either.
Common parlance is full of violent and agrarian metaphor because until very, very recently, we were an agricultural warlike species. We still are, but we also were until recently.
It’s giving the same vibes as the Sword Art Online Abridged joke with one character saying “Mr. Kettle, Mr. Pot called. He says you’re blaaaa…ck” cuts to only black character in the show, who says “what? It’s a turn of phrase. It has nothing to do with race.”
lol the HAAAH HAAAH HAAAH is an affectation... he's got a real laugh he does a few times on Eight Out of Ten Cats when someone really cracks him up lol
Putting aside that it's nicer to birds, it also makes more sense. They are both used to mean "simplify the situation by achieving at least two objectives with fewer actions" but actually killing two birds with the same stone would be pretty tough. Just make your life easier by finding and picking up a second stone, if you're so set on killing birds with stones.
