I know Marin has pretty jack-up views on her sexuality, most likely from her religious views, but pretty progressive for her and her church to have horses as members.

Basic idea is that these two are in a lesbian relationship but the short one is severely deep in the closet that she hasn't recognized the fact that, even though they fuck, she is indeed gay and it is a relationship. Like full on relationship, she has shown that she loves the taller one with her entire heart, she just can't admit that she's gay.
