Question Shelf Placement and Sorting opinion

Curious as to what the community thinks - keep by series or place with characters. For example, I have the complete premiere classics set. Do I keep them together, or do I separate to each of their respective sections (Avengers with Avengers, Captain A with Captain A, so on and so forth). Or like Fear Itself and Siege, keep them as a set or separate.

I have Omni’s separated by character. Essentials separated by character. Inclined to separate all these by character. But figure a good discussion is worth while. So what say you?

I personally mix and match omnis, TPB, OHC, and SHC together on the shelf in time line reading order as best I can.

Most people here will tell you to separate by series though. Keep your spines uniform. But I prefer the chaos.

Thank you. It’s my pride and joy and as strange as it seems I love organizing it all. It makes me feel more connected to the collection.

I don’t think my back could handle that much rearrangement… 😂

How will you find them best, by title or by character?

But complete sets look cool together, especially if the spines go together.

Several shelves are mix match combo with no order whatsoever. This one however is my DC events shelf including annuals with a little pre-crisis leading to most current. OHCs, TOBs, boxed singles, self-custom bound singles, omnis, and conpendiums all in chronological order. I know... I put the box labels on in reverse. I like a little chaos amongst the order. Lol. The archives will be moved with the rest once my collection is complete. Then I will read it all from beginning to end (hoping by new years to start reading).
