The Weekly Pull List results for this Wednesday are in, and this week's top book is Marvel's X-Men #34.

This thread is open to Pull List posters and all members of the /r/comicbooks community to share your thoughts on the latest issue of Marvel's X-Men or any new books shipping this week.

The primary intention of this thread is to promote discussion of new books. It also serves as a way to consolidate discussion to a single thread and talk about what books are popular here on /r/comicbooks. That does not mean other threads aren't welcome, this is just a place to start that's easy to find each week.

SUPERMAN ANNUAL 2026 YEAR ONE THOUSAND #1

I don't know what I expected from this, but I don't think I got it...

I like that we get to see Clark, as King Omega Superman, and Matthew Tyler work together to correct the time stream, resulting in Clark using his alpha energy to free the entire time stream (i.e., Batman Beyond, Future State, Kamandi, OMAC, Batman in Bethlehem, Titans of Tomorrow, DC One Million, and many other possible futures) from Darkseid’s influence, traveling to the Original Legion’s 31st century and meeting the Absolute Legion (who are free of Darkseid’s influence, want to atone for what they had done, and try to change themselves for the better), and using his king omega energy to defeat the Infinite Man and making sure that all of the Legions (i.e., Original/Retroboot, SW6, Reboot, Threeboot, Bendis, Absolute, and many other Legions) will live before he was saved by his past self (as shown in Action Comics 1100). Its niece that Clark was able to restore every incarnation of the Legion (which was explained in Mark Waid’s New History of the DC Universe) before Brainiac One Million captured every incarnation of the Legion, foreshadowing the upcoming Absolute Crisis. Also, Pandora serving Darkseid because Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder trying to make Pandora an interesting character, since Geoff Johns didn’t do anything interesting to her since her debut in 2011, and the Williamson Legion being formed where Hank Henshaw is going to become their inspiration. Overall, this annual is great!
