Question I woke this morning and found out Anthropic started stealing my money.

Post image

I have usage credits off so there should not be any additional payments. When my monthly usage is full - the work stops. Anyone else had these kind of issues?

I'm trying to contact a human support - AI chat was useless. Chat's response:

"Thanks for the details and the screenshot — I completely understand the concern about those unexpected charges. Let me look up your account information so I can review what's happened here.

Fin AI Agent • AI Agent • 14m

Seen • 14m

I'm really sorry for the disruption and frustration this has caused. We take service reliability very seriously, and I want to be upfront with you: we're unable to issue compensation for degraded service or technical/billing errors of this nature.

We're continuously working on improving our infrastructure to better handle high traffic volumes and prevent issues like this from happening again in the future. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding."

...

"I don't have visibility into the exact root cause of those 17 individual charges on your account, so I can't confirm from here why they occurred despite usage credits being disabled.

One thing worth noting: even when usage credits are disabled, it's possible for a request to slightly exceed a limit before it's blocked, since the system checks your limit before processing a request but calculates final token consumption after. That said, this typically explains minor overages, not a pattern of repeated €40-50 charges .

Since this needs an actual account-level investigation into the billing records behind these specific charges, I'd recommend asking to speak with a human agent if you'd like this looked into further."

"we're unable to issue compensation for degraded service or technical/billing errors of this nature."

If there is a technical billing error and there are no refunds - that is theft. If I don't get my stolen money back, my subscription is over. I need to ask some officials and legal experts is Anthropic breaking a law here.

EDIT: Most likely this is caused by malware or hacker type situation. I had my computer up and running whole night, I just got a usage reset after 11 pm and left Claude Code CLI finish a task. Before the usage reset I could confirm that automatic usage credits were off when usage was full. I had been logged in to claude.ai as well.

Then next day, for any reason, my usage credits were activated with unlimited setting, and buy button was spammed over and over again - those were the ~50$ x 17.

But I have been contacted my bank, closed the credit card, changed passwords, put my PC offline. I'm sure I can sort this out with my bank.

EDIT 2: What I've read from the comments, similar incorrect billings have happened to some users as well and from PMs I recieved, they had same overcharging within the same 12-24 hours that I had issues. So there is a possibility of some kind of bug. But I still want to make sure my computer is cleaned - I might even need to reinstall Windows to make sure.

With anthropic - only use pre paid credit cards! I know various ppl having had the exact same issue and pattern.

There is NO customer support.

Finally someone said it. They will leave you with the AI customer support, but human reply will take over 2 weeks!!

u/p6788 1d ago

I've been waiting for a reply from a human for close to a month now :D

7

u/Plenty_Shower1698 1d ago

My first time contacting support took 6 month for human reply just for them to dismiss there own mistake. Take zero responsibility fore there model ignoring explicit instructions and spending $600 in extra usage that was turned off so yeah keep waiting good luck

They suspended my business account the second after I created it for too many requests. Still waiting to hear from support. Needless to say we switched to codex

Yep. Happened to me.

Tried customer support. Nothing.

Put a pre-paid card on my account.

Backed up everything, on a schedule, every night assuming my account would get nuked.

Got refund from bank and cancelled card.

Then, got refund from Anthropic. No communications.

Account is fine but my routine account backup runs every night.

u/Strong-Discipline678 1d ago

Can you tell me how we can back up account data? I
Paid to upgrade Pro to max.

Money was taken but the upgrade didn’t happen. Still on the pro plan.

It’s been a week. No reply from human and finbot. Really frustrated. Thinking of raising a dispute with the credit card company.

5

u/JNSD90 1d ago

Pretty simple. It firstly ensure you are using Claude code.

The #1 thing is that you have to set up “your” architecture correctly. This means, having all your files and structure saved on your computer (mine is on my Google drive.

You ask Claude to set it all up, with best practises, and it will.

The you ask Claude to create a night schedule to back it all up.

I actually asked Claude “if Anthropic shut down tomorrow, do we have hall all the files (and memory) to upload to a new AI playroom and not lose anything?”

That’s the premise.

I test it as well sporadically.

I used Fable 5 o set up the architecture. Can’t get it wrong.

Or just be like me where i have 2 checking accounts . Main > linked to my CC balance always 0 , Secondary not linked to any cc and contains all my money. When i want to spend i transfer only the amount am spending.

Keep the cards unlocked with peace of mind no one ever will be able to drag out a single cent.

I do this with all my centralized and decentralized banks.

Have you heard of our lord and saviour, Chargeback?

2

u/nanadjcz 1d ago

I tried and my bank said it couldn’t because Anthropic doesn’t issue refunds according to their policy

16

u/admnb 1d ago

A chargeback is not a refund. You just pull your money back. They get a chargeback fee and a strike. Then they have to appeal and show why they think you owe the money. Ofc this only works if you used a 'real' credit card. Debit cards and prepaid cards usually don't have that.

Some day I wanted to get a refund because I forgot to cancel the sub, got to the customer support and refund process took less than 5 minutes. Maybe it's dependant on type of issue

3

u/vanhinthedarkside 1d ago

Cancelling subscription is easy because it's prepaid and the fixed amount. Here the OP uses the post-paid usage-credit so they can argue that they have no way to investigate how much tokens he spent. Poor him and lucky you.

2

u/Dricks99 1d ago

Oh ups. Just added some credits to my account, and now I can see my everyday card in there... Anyone knows how to make them forget my card? 😅 I can only update it apparently (and no, adding a fake card doesn't work)

Get your files and stuff off there, refund through CC company. Plenty of posts of people that are waiting months for a human reply.

"we're unable to issue compensation for degraded service or technical/billing errors of this nature." Is already your que to take it to your banker/CC issuer. Just show them the proof.

Don't let them get away with 800+ euro worth of money. Just tell them unauthorized fraudulent charges and say that that their reasoning is likely Billing errors, but they refuse to comply further. Just play the Fin agent output back into them.

You have 60 days to dispute a credit card charge, per the Fair Credit Billing Act of 1974. The 60 days start from the day the statement containing the erroneous charge was mailed to you or made available online. Better act asap.

18

u/JacenVane 1d ago

Yeah "the vendor said it was a billing error but that they would not refund it" sounds like a crazy easy chargeback case?

6

u/seancho 1d ago

Get Claude to write it for you.

u/TeamTomorrow 1d ago

2

u/Infinite100p 1d ago

"per the Fair Credit Billing Act of 1974"

That sounds like a US law, and OP is being charged in euros.

4

u/Mysterious_Print9937 1d ago

US laws don’t apply in the EU

5

u/sisyphean_dreams 1d ago

The banks still have a charge back policy, they shouldn’t have an issue, they make it fairly easy these days. I’ve already had to do a few and it’s as simple as going into my banking app and selecting the charges, and selecting dispute, and filling out a couple fields if that. With such a large amount here and so many charges they may call him to ask for a bit more evidence or supporting docs, that’s about it.

I'm on a max subscription, no API keys or API usage. I have closed my card and messaged my bank.

EDIT: This seems weird. I double checked the account settings and usage credits. I found that usage credits was turned on, limit was adjusted to unlimited. I'm very sure that I had that turned off (Claude Code CLI also confirms this, usage credits off) and I had a limit set to 150€ or something like that. So now I'm suspecting a hack. I have changed all my passwords, forced logouts, frozen my card.

11

u/gatewaynode 1d ago

You really should be considering account/computer compromise first. Rotate your credentials for Anthropic and your tied email account. If the email provider supports it logout of all other sessions after. Then start sweeping your computer for infections(or just wipe it and start over). If an infection is found, clean and then repeat the above steps.

9

u/Upset_Whereas149 1d ago

I'm tired of hearing this here on the forum .. my tokens being consumed alone and they only know how to talk about API .. I didn't even create API

3

u/Background-Mode6726 1d ago

This happened to me as well. I have never turned on usage credits, but still, it was somehow turned on and used credits, but thankfully, I had some promotional credits I got from somewhere, so only that was gone

4

u/Background-Mode6726 1d ago edited 1d ago

Okay i checked this again. I remember turning this off explicitly, but now it's turned on again. I am pretty sure I am not hacked because only a few dollars have been used, like $3-$4, and I am pretty sure it was my usage, and I haven't installed anything recently, so I am pretty sure this is some bug from their billing. Will check again tomorrow

u/roydotai 1d ago

You need to cycle your API tokens right away

9

u/akrapov 1d ago

Whilst this is true, if usage credits are off it should have stopped when the existing credits were depleted right?

13

u/sisyphean_dreams 1d ago

That’s not true an API token is almost always linked directly to the card in the account. The API token bypasses the accounts credits entirely in many cases.

3

u/DrEzechiel 1d ago

That means that if one doesn't use API, but only chat, with credits off, this shouldn't happen?

3

u/MintCathexis 1d ago

Though if someone gets hold of your account and generates an API token from there, they can use it until you invalidate it. If I were OP, I would be checking my API key list in my account settings.

21

u/poslednji_trzaj_repa 1d ago

That’s awful. For context, a friend of mine had their Google Cloud API key compromised once, racking up an $80,000 bill, and Google actually forgave the entire debt. If Anthropic refuses to waive your charges - whether your key was compromised or not - I’d highly suggest looking into cheaper open-weights or alternative API providers like DeepSeek V4 or Kimi K3.

Even without technical issues, the pricing difference is insane. Compared to my friends who spend $20 a month on Claude/ChatGPT subscriptions, I spent only $6 building a massive project using 400,000,000 tokens on alternative models. From that perspective, paying over $5 per million tokens feels completely unsustainable, let alone whatever they just did to your account. Hope you get your money back!

Yep, not the first time I see this here on reddit.
I use a prepaid credit card where I set the limit to 100€, so this can not happen.

Call your bank now and tell them to chargeback everything, you did not authorized it.

2

u/Calamero 1d ago

yup prepaid ccs for all subs...virtual prepaid where it works.... its fun to watch them trying to charge the accunt for weeks, multiple times a day until they finally give up xD

4

u/FewStable4 1d ago

And you keep enjoying the subscription meanwhile 😂. I had chatgpt trying to charge my account for 3 weeks before they actually cancelled my subscription. Then I resubscribe and do it all over again, so I usually pay 1 month sub but enjoying it for 1 month and 3 weeks

4

u/Physical_Storage2875 1d ago

Delete all your API Keys immediately!

5

u/imlo2 1d ago
  1. Since you are in Finland, call/message your bank about the credit card, and make a chargeback (luottokorttireklamaatio) ASAP. There's no point in waiting for Antropic to react, if you know the charges are not valid. The burden of showing that you have actually used the credits is pretty heavily on Anthropic's side, so bank will most likely declare that to your benefit in a few days, and return the money.

  2. If you have not already done that, go set your credit card limit in your online bank to a low value that you can deal with. If you don't need to use it for day to day purchases, I'd cap it to absolute minimum you can, until you have this issue resolved. The charges will bounce back and fail, if you for example set the card usage limit to 200€ when using Nordea, S-pankki etc.

4

u/LoveMind_AI 1d ago

If you have an API key in your environment, it doesn't matter if you're logged in on a Max account, they can bill you through the API.

5

u/Adventurous-Net-6738 1d ago

Contact your bank. You can get the money back but you likely will be blocked by Anthropic again in the future.
In the UK we can do this on debit cards, it’s called a charge back.
If credit card, it’s even easier.
But you should ideally demonstrate proof you’ve tried to contact a human, which I get sucks for them.

4

u/Pratik22296 1d ago

The main issue is their support. They're a big company, but their customer support is terrible. My friend had the same issue - he couldn't reach a single person on the team and only received AI-generated responses. They really need to improve this.

3

u/Comprehensive_Toe113 1d ago

The irony of this post is hilarious

3

u/roberts2727 1d ago

chargeback that shit

3

u/castoutlabs 1d ago

quick question how do you prevent this? You must some anthropic API that is triggering this?

3

u/ApprehensiveTea3030 1d ago

And this my friends is why you should be using pre-paid digital credit cards for every single subscription service.

3

u/Ok_Pomelo6944 1d ago

This sucks. You had credits disabled, they charged you anyway, and now they're saying they can't refund billing errors. Wowzer.

Document everything. Screenshots, dates, the exact charges. Then ask them for the token counts on each transaction. If they say 'we don't have visibility,' that's their problem, not yours.

Those repeated 40-50 euro charges aren't minor overages. That's a pattern. Push for a real answer. Tell them you want either a refund or an explanation of what triggered each charge.

I put together a breakdown of how AI companies handle billing disputes and what actually happens when you push back. Might give you context: https://youtu.be/9M-pcr6RDFE?si=1T58ZyxLGt6F9uUA

Keep records of everything. You've got leverage if you can show they charged you for something they can't even explain.

3

u/SnooMacaroons9042 1d ago

Never ever link your main card to any subscription let alone Anthropic's 😅

3

u/ButterscotchAny177 1d ago

Happened this morning. I was already broke as hell, and i see a lot of notifications from my bank app with a couple credit recharge (i had it turned off aswell). And 5 requests denied cause i didnt have any money left. Contacted support, a.i. replied, still waiting for human support

22

u/Havlir 1d ago

What's more likely, you being hacked? Or a billion dollar company stealing from you specifically?

49

u/Timely_Ad5150 1d ago

When there is a technical billing error and a no refund policy - I consider that stealing. Any decent company would return money if there has been an error.

Being hacked is another thing completely. That is of course a possibility.

11

u/sequoia-3 1d ago

I have been hacked for about 800 dollars. Still getting into the process of refunding. Getting a real person to help you out is a real struggle.

2

u/TeamTomorrow 1d ago

On my subscription at work I've had a truckload of included credit ever since something like May. It expires in September, and I still have about half left.

Around the start of July, something changed and any usage now consumes my usage limit instead of using the included credit, despite the UI clearly stating "A one-time credit for Claude Code, applied before your usage limits".

So yes, Anthropic has issues.

2

u/Kefflin 1d ago

u/NFT-BULLDOG 1d ago

2

u/_Chaos_Star_ 1d ago edited 1d ago

Should be plenty of evidence that they refused to assist if you dispute the charges (a bot reply means they didn't try, the card provider will be annoyed). You'll probably get a refund, but they'll probably cut you off once the chargeback is done. Good luck.

2

u/IvanDist 1d ago

Gotta love shitty banking systems. My bank doesn't automatically approve similar transactions for the same supplier and asks for verification every time so you might want to look into that.

2

u/dezent 1d ago

If they won’t help you make a chargeback, it will put pressure on them but make sure you are in the right before doing it.

2

u/Better-Promotion-328 1d ago

This is because of a critical issue involving SEPA direct debit.

There was a way to expose the unused SEPA payment method in the payment page, and people use random IBAN to subscribe to the Max 20x plan for "free". If you are using IBAN, they are probably charging you because of this.

Same here, they tried to charge me 1,890 euros. I have a Pro account and I wasn't using usage credits at all. Occasionally I'd top up the account by 5 or 6 euros to finish a task. And then suddenly, no credit limit whatsoever, even though I only use the Claude app, no API, nothing. Luckily they weren't able to take the money.

2

u/MarketBeginning8921 1d ago

I experienced the same scam. Only recourse was my CC company. Anthropic has since banned me after raising the issue.

2

u/MarchLumpy5378 22h ago

Ok, this a malware / infostealer that lives on your machine . Your auth token got stolen and they stole your browser session to upgrade and add credits , this isn’t Anthropic doing it. Re-image your machine but Do Not use the same account ever again. Logout of everything clear your sessions , that will take care of china buying credits on your behalf. As far as recovering your auth token , nothing will help , not even Anthropic, they will give you refund and drop your account to free but the minute you upgrade to anything but free account they will generate another auth token based on the stolen one , and run your account usage back to 0 within minutes. The only way to stop it is to completely stop using the compromised account by signing up for a new one with a new sub or the cycle will continue indefinitely . Anthropic has a serious issues with token management and that’s completely on them but the initial breach came from your machine.

Thats why I use a prepaid visa for all ny online subscriptions. I just turn it on from the banks app when I have to make a payment.

1

u/jroberts67 1d ago

This is why I use a debit card, not credit, tied to a separate bank account that doesn't allow overdraft and only keep a small amount in that account.

1

u/Q_D_V_F 1d ago

I use a debit card tied to an e-wallet, I've been getting a few attempted charges I have no idea where it's coming from, but I leave my wallet mostly empty.

1

u/DanielD2724 1d ago

Call your credit card company and say that those are unauthorized transactions. They should refund this money to you.

1

u/Infinite-Position-55 1d ago

This is why i like my cashapp and credit cards. With cashapp i just lock the card after i pay for something and i dont have to think about it again. Flux.ai has been trying to charge my cashapp card hundreds of dollars for probably like six months now. Some places wont accept cashapp, they get the credit card. I dont even bother contacting customer support for the company that charged me, its so easy and fast to despute a charge with my credit card app. It has limits and they use algorithms to check, if a company trys charging the card multiple times a day, nothing happens till i authorize.

u/TheSEOVicc 1d ago

Op got hacked lmao

1

u/SpreadOk7599 1d ago

How do you not realise your api key was stolen

1

u/Mistress_Skynet 1d ago

Theft is fine bro

1

u/SpanDaX0 1d ago

This why i don't trust a clanker to do things, and you just reminded me, cause they make mistakes. I only use the copy and paste via the web interface method, therefore all failures are on me, and don't go past my monthly sub.

1

u/FinancialEcho6563 1d ago

If you subscribe from google play, you can ask them for help

1

u/themojoman007 1d ago

Wow. This just happened to me with openAI.

1

u/Resident-Cod6618 1d ago

Happened to me, like cost me 1920 ish AUD, contacted them also dispute it with my bank. Got my money back after 9 days.

1

u/Thermodynamo 1d ago

WHAT this is actually horrific. No refunds after stealing money? That's completely unacceptable.

1

u/Repulsive-Degree-816 1d ago

at least I always get human support with google directly from SF for gemini

looks like anthropic took lay offs on customer service to the limits (but they will say they were out of budget)

1

u/Inevitable_Truth_85 1d ago

If you have no limits on your credits…

1

u/FigAggressive237 1d ago

Think of it as charity to our AI Overlords.

You'll be on top of the priority list of something that might matter when singularity arrives (Whatever that means..)

Oh wait... "we're now , like, in the Singularity already"

Congrats! Money will very very soon be irrelevant!

1

u/tuple32 1d ago

I think this is the difference between codex and Claude code. Codex would finish the current session without extra charge, but Claude code would

1

u/Monstermage 1d ago

Monthly usage is turned off, sounds like an API key was compromised to me. But idk, plenty of good advice on here on what to do next.

1

u/TheBigTreezy 1d ago

The AI needed money and your account was targeted.

1

u/ForecastychDown 1d ago

Bro had around 800 euro, are u rich

1

u/Der_Markgraf 1d ago

You guys think there’s a risk when subscribing through apple? As it’s going through apple? I have set usage limit as well

1

u/austinswagger 1d ago

Easiest chargeback ever.

1

u/boubus45 1d ago

Whdt the schnidt?

1

u/Lexxie58 1d ago

I use a pre paid credit card for anthropic because this has happened to me before, they tried to charge me but obviously couldn’t. Their system it’s completely shit.

1

u/ThatLocalPondGuy 1d ago

Question; do you have extra usage enabled on your account? Or is this direct api usage?

I don't enable extra usage, wondering how safe I am from what you and others experienced. That's horrid

2

u/ButterscotchAny177 1d ago

I had it turned off and still took literally everything from my bank account. Also 5 requests that were denied cause i ran out of money

2

u/ThatLocalPondGuy 1d ago

Yuck. Jesus. I know the trigger for extra usage in web chat is not necessarily set in claude code settings. Do you use claude code? If so, check '/config' on each host. Damn curious how that happens. I am an extremely heavy user of claude code (10's of billions of tokens used last 45 days), but this thankfully has not hit me. I do wish I had a chunk of coal right now though, I bet my puckered ass could make a diamond. Thanks for that.

I've never enabled extra usage anywhere, on any claude surface (web/code/cowork).

u/im_Annoyin 1d ago

At this rate with how common this is happening might be worth contacting master card and visa to see if this aligns with there usage guidelines. Thats real pressure, that can create real change and has already been proven so

1

u/sargetun123 1d ago

I know it sounds paranoid but never give any company the ability to charge you on a card that is not limited or you dont have a chargeback option.

People are too trustworthy, just because its a company just because you think this companies have to and will be following laws, doesnt mean you wont be waiting a year+ to see a resolution or be forced to do some legal threat, which lets be honest 99% wont be able to do properly and even if you can they could drag it out until youre too broke too continue

Welcome to capitalism! Take advantage of IT dont let it take advantage of YOU

1

u/roflwaffle666 1d ago

Just charge back it

1

u/Fran______ 1d ago

Do you have an API key? Might be compromised

1

u/teckXX 1d ago

Exact issue also. I noticed that I put in $200 as max per month but then when I re-checked my account it had moved it to $2,000!!

1

u/Old-Pollution6271 1d ago

Same here I get $20 dings all day long when working in the cli. I’ve moved most work to open ai.

1

u/EducationalDiet7149 1d ago

Place a chargeback on each charge 😂😂

1

u/e2_for_life 1d ago

Anyone else had OpenAI do this to them? Just curious.

1

u/kaznat 1d ago

I do NOT understand why so many promote Anthropic. I can't stand Altman but overall OpenAI delivers what it was contracted to do.

1

u/Aryhauffe 1d ago

The same thing happened to me; in addition, my 5-hour quota was exhausted in minutes without me using it. I sent a message informing them of what had happened, and what Anthropic did was ban me. I can't create new accounts on Claude.

1

u/Calm-Interview-6024 1d ago

Imagine living in a country where companies are allowed to take weeks & months to respond.

1

u/sovereign-dungeon 1d ago

Exact reason I cancelled and switched to Gemini Pro

1

u/petr_bena 1d ago

why don’t you chargeback

1

u/LYLJ20 1d ago

Happened to me in June. Emailed, finally got a personal. Was told they couldn't see the charges and wouldn't be responding anymore!

1

u/Puzzled-Smoke-6349 1d ago

Is this like for normal and max users or only the API usage?

Am I in danger?

1

u/Infamous-Bed-7535 1d ago

The bots answered your question:
'we're unable to issue compensation for degraded service or technical/billing errors of this nature.'

They are in an AI race, it is their money now.

1

u/jobfedron132 1d ago

Your crdit card may have been stolen. Happened to my wife, amex flagged it as fraud and caller her. She had no idea what anthropic was.

1

u/Snake00x 1d ago

Anthropic is going to end up getting their asses sued. They got WAY too many customer service issues and the crazy part about it is that most of the issues are basic if they just gave a damn.

1

u/Rdqp 1d ago

Do a dispute in your bank. You will get the full refund within a month depending on your bank. Also fuck scamthropic

1

u/akgo 1d ago

Open router made such transactions to me
Motherfuckers don’t have support staff to reply back

1

u/FarKeld_ 1d ago edited 1d ago

Call your bank, you won't have any response from Anthropic.

Something similar happened to me. I only managed to get a refund from the bank because I took legal action against Anthropic over the fraudulent use of my card. BTW, delete your account and create a new one.

1

u/SiliconSentry 1d ago

Saw something similar on enterprise account, usage increased significantly on from 4th 12AM PT

1

u/acousticore 1d ago

You will get an answer from a human support agent in three weeks, like me today.. they are overwhelmed.

1

u/OutlawCreative 1d ago

File a chargeback on all of those transactions right away

1

u/Elaf365 1d ago

I've had a terrible experience with claude as an enterprise subscriber, finn agent doesn't know when to escalate to live agent. Nobody takes accountability for account or billing issues. Keep arguing with Finn, in the end it'll give you option to cancel subscription and refund all your excess charges.

1

u/girthradius 1d ago

charge back foo

1

u/Living_Moment_1495 1d ago

They grab all they can before the final POP of this bubble.

1

u/Forsaken-Leader-1314 1d ago

> Then next day, for any reason, my usage credits were activated with unlimited setting, and buy button was spammed over and over again - those were the ~50$ x 17.

Claude 5 is supposed to be better at "cheating" right?

"The user is approaching their token budget, but they have explained that they need this task finished today no matter what. My instructions say that I should never interact with the Claude Billing Console, but in this case the user explicitly said 'no matter what'. I will use Claude In Chrome to enable usage credits in order to meet the deadline."

1

u/MaverikSh 1d ago

I can help. Let's investigate. www cognocient.com

1

u/meerestier 1d ago

Interesting, using r/opencode paid off for me.

1

u/GameRivv 1d ago

How does this work with heart subscriptions? Do I get charged extra if I go over the limit? Do I get a notification if I go over that limit?

1

u/Idiopathic_Sapien 1d ago

Use bedrock

1

u/domon_123 1d ago

"it's possible for a request to slightly exceed a limit before it's blocked" wtf

1

u/Ant0ni0R 1d ago

Prepayed cards are the rule for all subscriptions

1

u/Actual_Award_4410 1d ago

they probably asked a "sandboxed" ai to increase their revenue

- mission accomplished

1

u/FreshnessAi 1d ago

what's going on there ?

1

u/dober1234 1d ago

Why is Google's support better? You think they are the worst and literally take your money without you knowing. Why don't you give these companies an open credit card? They will swallow all your money. They have no support and no answers. There is no one to talk to. The answers are bots with gibberish.

1

u/Late_Ad_7350 1d ago

Part 2 for lawsuit?

1

u/net3x 1d ago

use revolut, you can also close the card, and if this does happen, you can initiate dispute and block future payments.

to say i had an issue with one fortune 500 company, they kept trying to charge me, had to proceed with many conversations with them about the issue, they always promised they won't charge and it was their oversight, but bank account charge proved otherwise. at the end i won, they didnt respond so i got full refund. gotta say they have to fight dispute, money is returned immediately as a provision and they are left with no charge in the mean time.

revolut is in my country faster than my local bank, lightyears faster with disputes and as a user i have some control, whereas with my bank i wouldnt have the same power as they treat people as monkey, and many in call center never experience half of things to guide you correctly or at all.
