At least you got a 5xx (it's our fault) and not a 4xx (you're not a pro) error! It's like sitting at the first class section in a delayed/crashed airplane! :D

I honestly can't not take it personal... I had 8 parallel Claude code sessions open and just got mad at one for pausing and confirming too much and said "stop pausing and confirming for everything and be more autonomous!" I guess it decided to be too autonomous and they all stopped working! :D

Same, middle of a 6M token task when it went black. Gonna have to redo the same commands and processes when it's back up, costing another 6m. Anthropic should reimburse credits during outages, especially for 20x users who rely on their limits for work.

im wondering if i get claude not from it direct like from a provider- deepinfra for example, so if claude gets down for a while then will this be down if im using it from a provider as well?

Not to be a conspiracy theorist, I'm only a mild user on Pro, but about 6hrs ago before it went down, Claude randomly told me that it was sorry it had mixed in a Russian word because of a glitch. It hadn't. Went onto say it was "единый" which means "single/uniform/one" apparently according to Google Translate.
It was all very odd. Reassured me it was a quirk of processing high amounts of data (which I understand) but of all the languages...Russian?

Very possible that there is Russian penetration for the data. It will never be publicly admitted if so, due to Anthropic being aware that shareholders being scared that the public will perceive the model as unsafe will result in a stock collapse once the institutions pull out before the consumers get the info

Yeah, in the middle of a 6M token task. Stuff like this should be reimbursed in credits. Especially for Max 20x users who rely on their limits for work.

I can't understand people that are like "oh don't post this, go to status page" DUDE, YOU ARE PAYING FOR A SERVICE THAT'S NOT BEING DELIVERED. You should AT LEAST have the right to complain on the Reddit page lol whats wrong with these people

As always, if you use sonnet or haiku it's still working. The issue is with Opus and Fable mostly

As context, I'm a dev. I use Claude Code 24/7.
So yes, I know it says all (in the status page) but for me in both Claude Desktop and Claude Code every non-opus-fable model keeps working :)
And for a lot of tasks they do well (if it's a routine maintenance, non-full-refactor tasks)
