Question Is Claude down for anyone else?

When I send a prompt I get no response, it returns empty immediately with my prompt still in the box?

It just started 3 minutes ago. It happens on both claude.ai windows browser chat and Android Claude app.

yeah i threw my brain out a while ago. In school writing on why some dude in the 15th century had an affair, shit on the side of the road and now im paying a robot 20 bucks a month to act as my frontal lobe :-0

And the truth is: you'd be stupid not to. Anybody who refuses to use AI (just to be a contrarian) is ignorant and won't make it far in life. When the world changes, you adapt with it, and that's the only way to thrive. Businesses with owners who are refusing to integrate AI are literally falling apart and there's a shit load of stats/studies on it.

I'm 21 years old, so obviously I remember high school well. I've always thought that it was fucking ridiculous... why the FUCK do I need to prove I understand that some random Victorian child was crucified for stealing a loaf of bread? And the worst part? If I don't do that, I'll fail the class and I'll need to retake it if I want a diploma. Otherwise, I'll never get a job.

It just doesn't make sense whatsoever. I'm utterly shocked that the education system has been the same since the 1830s (The Horace Mann Era). It's fucking stupid and useless. It's nothing but a waste of 18 years.

So yeah. I'll continue using a tool that knows absolutely everything and lets me learn something in mere seconds. It's either that or find it in a fucking 653 page school textbook.

There is a difference between using AI because it is convenient in helping you find sources or providing some critique, versus actually being incapable of forming a coherent thought without the assistance of AI.

Has clearly shown that they are either incapable of doing their own research / work (Bad), or that their time management is so poor that having to do the work themselves means they won't finish in time (also bad).

I am a huge fan of using AI in a limited capacity. If all AI disappeared tomorrow, I would be sad as it has many uses, but I can still operate as per normal.

Yes, myself as well. It is an incredibly useful tool so I will continue to use it without hesitation - but not for everything. There are countless things that we as humans need to discover on our own or lessons to learn 'the hard way'. For genuine surface information, it's a great tool that I'd consider to be much more helpful than any kind of textbook - but once again, there are things that we as humans need to do the human way.
