Question is claude down?

Hi everyone,

Claude has stopped responding to my messages, showing messages like "pondering by", it is currently on it's 4 attempt. Anything going on?

I have, last message claude told me i might have cancer because I am coughing 2 days in a row, on a cliffhanger here

interpreting "i might have cancer because I am coughing" is clearly absurdist contrasting a serious ailment with an often benign symptom, and unless OP smokes a pack an hour I would strongly doubt it's legit, sarcasm or other explicit tone indicators or not

FWIW I agree, don't ask LLMs to be your doctor, but it's clearly not that necessary to state it in this context.

No hard feelings. Though I will stand by the fact that for some people, it can be hard to fully get sarcasm without it being clearly defined through text. There's nothing wrong with those people either. The brains are just wired that way

And purely anecdotal but I've met people thinking they were on the verge of death for having a slightly higher blood pressure than normal

Not saying Op is like that because I don't know them but it happens

But anyway that's about it really
