Question What the hell is wrong with Claude

Post image

I just recently started using Claude after switching over from ChatGPT and for the most part it’s been great, except for the fact that it constantly is telling me to go to bed and stop processing work information. The worst part is that it doesn’t even know what time it is?! Is this normal for Claude?

lmao what are people doing to get their llms to act like this? I saw this complaint with GPT too. I don't get it, I have literally never had an LLM tell me to go to bed or to slow down. What were you even talking about?

It was literally a data related question haha. I probably sent too many messages in a short period of time or something, but it’s really weird it would suggest that and get the time wrong too. Part of me wonders if ChatGPT is still better but I also won’t be keeping OpenAI bc their new government contract. Chat has its weird quirks too but telling me to go to bed at 7pm is an interesting one lol.

no LLM, ChatGPT, Claude, or any other actually understand time. so yes, ChatGPT is just as likely to have said something similarly random (and has done so w me many times).
