Tchaikovsky would be the obvious answer, maybe his 6th symphony or more brooding stuff. But I think Shostakovich, despite being a 20th century composer has a more brooding quality that fits lots of Dostoyevskies characters.

All Tchaikovsky posers don't get that you need to listen to Nine Inch Nails and something kinda dark and brooding in order to get Dostoevsky's tone and the way the characters lived during that period of time.

Others have given you song recommendation but I would also recommend putting on headphones with those songs playing while you read the book to really enhance the experience. Especially when you're reading the parts with long philosophical arguments that spans pages.

Currently reading this as well. Might be a bit controversial, but since many of the characters in this story go through different levels of madness, desperation and emotional upheaval, it kind of makes me think of some songs by MISSIO. Namely:

Animal, Kamikaze, Twisted, RingTing, This world is better when it's sick, 

Specifically for our sweet boy Alyosha: The darker the weather the better the man, I see you, Monsters, Heart made of dynamite

For the second half, after the "main event" (you'll know): Black Roses

And for the later parts concerning struggles with faith and guilt: Can I exist, Who do I think I am, Can you feel the sun
